I hired this company for a concrete project, and the overall experience was frustrating. During the…read morework, large sections of my yard were torn up. Sod was removed and thrown on top of other grass, trenches were left open, and several sprinkler zones were damaged and responsibility was not taken. My yard wasn't perfect before, but it was grass, not loose dirt, mud, and scattered dead patches. To their credit, they did come back and refill the trenches, restore the holes, and fix the sprinkler issues after I pointed them out. However, I had to rearrange my own plans to be present and make sure the repairs were actually done, which shouldn't be necessary if things were handled correctly the first time. Even after the repairs, the side yard was not returned to its original condition. I attached photos of before they came and after the job. The removed sod was not properly replanted, the area was left uneven, and instead of actual sod replacement I was told they would "drop hybrid seed," which is not a proper fix for sod that was removed or destroyed. The photos show exactly how my yard was left. While the concrete itself turned out fine after coming back to fix mistakes, the landscaping/restoration side of the job fell far below professional standards. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company for concrete or landscaping work.

I heard about this company from a friend and I also looked them up on Angie's list and home advisor including BBB. I could not find one negative reason why I shouldn't hire these guys. After 6 different bids I knew these were the guys. We scheduled a start date and they were punctual and finished on time and budget. These guys were awesome they cleaned up so well we couldn't even noticed any construction took place. If there's one company that you can count on it is these guys. These guys are great and the quality of the material was phenomenal I could not compare it to no other contractor I've had in my property . We have the front yard project for spring and you bet I'm going to hire these guys again. All our neighbors have got their number and 2 of them have scheduled work for the spring . Initially, I was looking forward to working with Dream Yards. The website was informative and easy…read moreto use, and the owner contacted me and came to my house for a quote very quickly. His quote was fair for the scope of the work listed, and he maintained communication, in spite of weather issues, about when they would start the job. However; once the job was finished, I had the following issues: 1. Contract Issue: Dream Yards' business contract states: "Dream Yards will present a walk thru with each customer after each project to verify work was completed at time of service." A walkthrough was not completed with myself, who was the one who hired Dream Yards and was the point of contact with Mark, the owner. 2. Customer Service: When I looked closely at the variegated ginger plants, there were many brown edges on several of the plants. I texted Mark Morales, the owner, the next morning expressing my concern. Mark replied that the plants were "healthy yesterday." *At the end of the business contract, there is a quote: "People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care." Mark's response to my concern about the brown edges on the plants did not represent this claim. The problem could have easily have been resolved by simply replacing 3 plants with brown edges to meet customer satisfaction. (I was very surprised when I initially saw the quality and appearance of the new variegated ginger plants and more surprised that Dream Yards felt the plants were provided a good representation of their work). I asked Mark to come out to look at the plants, instead of a crew person, so he could personally see the issues. Mark ended up sending his partner, Steven, who hadn't overseen the job, to look at my concerns. 3. Quality of Job: Steven came in the morning to see my concerns. One ginger plant had fallen over because it was not secured deep enough into the ground, and the roots were visible. A couple liarope plants were falling over as well, indicating the plants were not placed deep enough into the soil. Steven said he would add soil to fix the problem. At the end of the visit, it appeared that Steven had probably repositioned the mulch to hold up the plant as opposed to actually adding more soil or digging the hole deeper. Steven said there was a 30 day warranty on the plants but didn't give any information as to how that works. 4. Quoted Services: The Dream Yards quote included removing all dead oak leaves in plant beds. Removing the dead leaves was one of my main concerns; dead oak leaves do not decompose and prevent good soil absorption as the plants grow. As I was watering and looking closely, the dead leaves were not removed; mulch was spread over the dead oak leaves. This is evident because at the base of the plants, the build-up of dead leaves caught up in the base of each plant is visible. In addition, when I moved the mulch to inspect a little deeper, I could see the dead oak leaves underneath the mulch. I also never saw any bags of leaves that had been blown and collected to be hauled off.
