I told him it looked terrible and it was going to fall apart and he yelled at me and stormed out of my house, slamming the door behind him. I tried to call him several times and he didn't answer my calls. They did eventually come back to do a half ass job (once I put a stop payment on the check) and left things undone. Now, less than four years later the stairs are cracked and the cement is falling apart. I would rather pay another company double just to not have this company back on my property. If you use them, don't pay until everything is done and check their work. They will skimp when they can.

These are the types of things that happen when people care about what they do and their community. On friday, my electrical headmast (the pole where the electricity line comes into your home) rusted out and fell over. I called FKEC to let them know. They showed up within 40 minutes. Looked at the fallen mast and suggested to have the power cut off from my home for safety. Which they did immediately. We discussed how to repair this and they suggested I speak to one of the local Electricicians in Key Largo. I had done business before with Wire Nuts and called their emergency line. I think it's Steve's wife who answered and immediately got with Steve and he was on his way. Within another 30-40 minutes Steve was here (on Friday at 8:30pm) to review the issue. Assess the repair. He felt comfortable that his team would be able to fix it on Saturday and he confirmed it Saturday morning at 7:45am. By 8:10am his crew was working to repair the fallen electrical mast and under the beating sun got it done by 1pm. KLEC came in within 35minutes of my calling them and set up the power. I had electricity to my home by 2pm in less than 24 hours from when a major issue occurred and all because people are responsive and care about the folks they serve. My sincerest appreciation to FKEC and Steve at Wire Nuts for being great neighbors!!

He only installed a plastic weather box to the 240 VAC receptacle. No new box was added to the distribution box as requested.
