I have been to this office several times over the past couple of years. The staff are nice and helpful, however, every time there is an error in billing, an error in scheduling, or something else. All of my visits have been very basic as well, but mistakes have still always been made by the office and they have not been very apologetic. This lack of professionalism is consistent enough that I feel the need to find a new doctor. This is unfortunate, as I would like to support an all female business. read more

So, Southeast Medical Clinic used to be the best clinic in Juneau. When Sarah Nieko was there, I had the best medical care. I have serious issues with my health. Well, things have changed. Now they are only interested in making money and not caring for the health of their patients. Some of the doctors there are good, but the entire vibe of the clinic has changed. I get phone call after phone call from them pressuring me to come in for nonsense reasons. I will go in and get a problem fixed and they want me to make a follow up appointment. Lately, they pressure you to come in constantly. I am disabled and it is very difficult for me to go into the clinic. Besides the fact I have so many medical bills I'm broke. I had a kidney infection for three or four months and I went in there to see the doctor. I took a urine test which came out negative. I drink gallons of water all day and it's very common for me to have a negative test, even though I have an infection. The doctor that I go to, Kaitlyn Bausler was great and prescribe me the medication. I started feeling better and all my symptoms were going away. But I needed an extra few days of antibiotics because I was not completely free of symptoms. They insisted I come in and take a urine test to get more antibiotics even though I told them I already had a test and that test was negative! This clinic has gotten so ridiculous! This medical group showed up as in network health care internal medicine accepting new patients looking to establish a new doctor under Blue Cross Blue shield medical insurance to setup an appointment, they asked which insurance I have. They have a no show policy, not showing up within your 15 minutes window, you will not be rescheduled. Call them if you won't be able to make the appointment before the appointment. Their location is around the other side of Foodland and ACE Hardware, on the second floor, there is an elevator. You'll need to present government issued photo identification and insurance card, fill out paperwork, answer questions regarding your medical history. Nice office located behind Foodland. The providers tend to come and go, at least in my experience, but they are all pretty nice. I was really impressed with Dana. She's smart and made me feel really comfortable. The office staff has always been excellent. They're really nice in person as well as over the phone. read more

Could not have been more disappointed with my experience here. Saw a PA here about a minor issue, she told me she wasn't sure what was going on could try prescribing something, came back two weeks later, again told me she was guessing and prescribed something else. When it still didn't go away I went and saw a different doctor in town for the third visit who immediately diagnosed and fixed issue. The last doctor I saw said the diagnoses that were given to me at Southeast Medical Clinic were completely off track. To make matters worse also found out I was being charged over $200 per bad guess by the clinic, I can come up with an inaccurate diagnoses all by myself thanks to the magic of Webmd and not end up several hundred dollars poorer. Take my advice and go see an actual knowledgeable physician in town and save yourself money and frustration. read more
