Finally took the time to visit the Esthetics Institute on Gervais St! They have a main store front on Gervais and the classroom where they do eye lashes up the street. So don't get confused on your location, both are within walking distance from each other, just call or look at your confirmation. Either way you are gonna be in for a special treat!!! I absolutely love this place and the owner is a gem! Yesss I enjoyed my Spa time and all the ladies were great. Upon entering you have to fill out a health questionnaire and a temp check is required. I visited during CoVid time and social they were all wearing mask while working on clients. Everything was clean and sanitizer was readily available for everyone. I didn't feel rushed and attention to detail was in full effect, the instructor was within reach while procedure were being down. They are highly trained and educated on their skill. I even learned a few things about my skin while visiting. Facial & eyelashes done during this visit. I will be making monthly appointments for sure. SEEI continues to be an excellent establishment. I have continued to follow them as they have moved continually to bigger and better bulidings. Todays visit was incredible. I had a fabulous massage followed by a facial. Thrilled to have started my membership today and invest more in my self care. The students are great. Colton at the welcome desk is incredible. Courtney Sykes and her whole team are phenomenal !!! The new space is so exciting. I am so grateful for the opportunity to return here as often as I possibly can. read more

I love this place they have everything as you can see from the list on the picture, the students are wonderful and we'll trained I've been going for a while now and haven't been disappointed yet. I've have microdermabrasion facials, stem cell facial, eyebrow tinting the list is endless ladies try it out the membership is only $49 per month and there's a ton of things on there you can have done a month ! 5 procedures per month even Brazilian waxing and under arms , chin and lip too . Ok and so much more ! The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is lovely and so comfortable. Well worth the money. read more

I scheduled an online spray tanning appointment through the company's website. They immediately charged me $10 - not bad at all for a spray tan! (Although I did worry how it would turn out with a student doing it, but figured I'd give it a shot...) I received not one, but two confirmation emails regarding my visit, with the second one arriving the day before. The second email asked me to confirm my appointment online, which I did. The next morning at 7:50 AM, I showed up at the business. The lights were off, the doors were locked and clearly no one was in there, despite me knocking loudly several times. I waited outside in 30ish degree weather for 20 minutes before leaving them a polite note on the door that I'd like my $10 refunded. I waited all day to hear from them as I'd left my phone # and they had my email address. Nothing. Several days passed before I received a voicemail from "Courtney" that she had no idea what I was talking about, there was no appointment scheduled for me or anyone that day as they were on a "field trip" and the student my appointment was with was no longer enrolled there. Courtney claimed their website must have had an error and she'd have someone look into it, but really she was implying that I should know that particular student was no longer enrolled and that I must have been mistaken on my appointment date and time. (Note - I checked the confirmation emails several times.) Then Courtney proceeded to say that they couldn't refund my money but they'd allow me to apply it toward future services. Really? Your website isn't up to date, you failed to show for my scheduled pre-paid appointment and you won't return my money because of your error? Yes, it is only $10 (which is part of the reason I'm only writing a Yelp review and not fighting to get the money back) but it's MY $10 if you fail to show for the scheduled appointment. Had I missed an appointment, you can bet they'd charge me an extra fee. I do not recommend this business at all! read more

Made an appointment for a Brazilian and it was the most painful thing ever. I've gotten them before and been fine but this was horrible. She got wax stuck on me and couldn't get it off. I left with wax still stuck in my hair and random chunks of hair left. I was shaking it was so painful and I had to leave before the girl was done. Plus there was no privacy. I was out in the open and people were walking in an out and I was in full view of other clients which was extremely uncomfortable read more

Love, love, love the clinic's services. I have had a peel, body scrub and back rejuvination and am scheduled for a microdermabrasion. The facility is beautiful and you are treated professionally. I made an initial review on here describing my experience on getting a Brazilian wax with one of the students that went terrible. The student was not knowledgeable and took over an hour to finish my Brazilian wax, which in the end I was overall not impressed at all. On the website it said that an instructor would be assisting the student which was a complete lie. Not only did the Brazilian wax go terrible the staff was not very welcoming. However I took my initial review down because the owner Cortney reached out to me with a dry and nonchalant "apology" in order for me to remove the review in exchange for a service from her other company PURA, no one from her company has reached out to me to set anything up as she said she would get done right then an there, just makes me feel as if it would most likely be the same thing and experience. I will gladly take my time and money to spend somewhere professional. read more

I hate giving 3 stars because I am really torn. Here are the main reasons why: absolutely no privacy and noisey. Now, let me preference this with it is a school for adult students who are learning, so yes there is a lot of chatter. The student who did my chemical peel was very kind and did a good job. Yes, she did have to stop and ask questions, but that is okay, she is learning. For the price you pay I believe you get good quality service. There is just no quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I believe for the cost you get a good deal and service. Just if you are interested in a quiet, peaceful atmosphere, this may not be the place for you. The beds were comfortable. I changed my top in the bathroom, into the half wrap and was exposed to the public coming in as I was walking out. You walk into a large room where others are visible getting massages. For the price and service I received I will be returning. It was just a shock at first at the setting. I believe the students do their best to give you excellent service. I have been to other schools that have privacy curtains and/or rooms. read more

I am am old student. I am writing this review due to the fact that my face was burned third degree badly on January 16th and I did not take then to court. Butbmy scars stull remain. Seeing my face will not ever be the same, future clients need to know exactly what they are dealing with. There was no apologies, and when I was pushed into a depressive state I kept strong to heal myself. But the owner poked fun while lecturing me on how negative I was and then posting selfish with her instructor that she was chanting lives. Bish, you did, you ruined my fac. Then advise that gig are not a federally accredited school so idk what linn of sketchy business you running bit no thank you for ruining my face. Is been a year later. You have no empathy for what you have done to me. I pray GOD protect the others. If antifungal interested in policies or contacts of ladies that will gladly testify to seeing this botch proceedures contact me. I keeper updated photos to heal myself.
