I contacted Southeastern on Tuesday regarding a malfunction in the operation of my door. I spoke to Lisa and she promptly scheduled an appointment 2 days later (my choice/she had next day service available). She provided a very competitive estimate and fully explained the repair process and the components required. I had never previously owned a "Wayne Dalton" system and she explained the requirement/advantages of converting this system to a more widely used spring torsion system. (To my surprise all other repair contractors also provided this option, with no contacted contractors providing actual repair of the Wayne Dalton springs...an education for me as a homeowner who had never seen a Wayne Dalton garage door opening system before....). I am sure that a homeowner could "repair/replace" the Wayne Dalton springs, but I could not find any local garage contractors that would do it. I have to wonder why: lack of product support from the manufacturer, quality issues, reliability?? The technician (Joey) arrived on time and was exceptionally polite, helpful, and again explained the need to convert to the spring opener and what would be required to due conversion. Joey showed great knowledge and very quickly removed the old system, installed the new hardware, and completed the installation with no issues at all. He then took the time to completely test all components and explained the use of an app to control the door away from home. This company was responsive, communicative ,very competitive, and price point fair. It is also locally owned and not a franchise. I strongly recommend them, and not to be lured in to larger companies that have "slick" websites and frankly quoted me a price more then double Southeastern. Very pleased with these folks. A few years ago I called around to have my garage door opener replaced. Decided to go with Southeastern and am happy I did. They quickly had my new opener installed at a fair and reasonable price. This morning the roller spring suddenly broke and I called, told them my vehicles were stuck in the garage and they had serviceman at my house within an hour. An hour or so later, door was fixed! I was given an hour time span to expect them to arrive, and was pleasantly surprised when Gabe arrived early! I had a broken spring in my door, and Gabe was able to fix it in under an hour. Shocked!! One of my springs broke on the garage door. Being relatively new to the area, I had no idea who to call. Got on internet, read all of the reviews & thank goodness I chose Southeastern. I couldn't be more pleased with the service from southeastern. I Called at 10:00 and was told that a serviceman would be there between 12:30 and 1:30. He was there at 1:00 and all the repairs had been completed springs, cables, pullys, tracks lubricated, and the door tested by 2:00. It doesn't get any better than that.
