Beware. They are thief's and treat employees horribly. They short customer and over charge for product. They keep wages and make up excuses so employees don't receive money owed for work performed. poor business practice. No online payment, only cash or check. we chose check using our online bank. They rejected not only the check but when asked for and shown our Mastercard from our bank they rejected that also. They were not familiar with it. An online bank in business for over 15 years. Just outdated thinking on their part. Get up with the times and catch up to banking as its done in the 21st century. Thank goodness for Gravelmonkey online. Purchased 4 bags "much" at the Zephyrhills yard. Got home to find out one bag had huge 2ft hunk of tree in it. Went back to get a replacement bag and the yard manager said no, "I would have to buy a new bag". When I asked for the old bag back (with the tree hunk in it) he said "get out of my building" Emailed the owner who never responded. read more

I placed two orders of Crushed Limerock. My first order of 15 yards was split between two days. The first arrived same day and was perfect. The manager was very nice at delivery. The second delivery was also seamless. I knew that I was going to be placing another 30 yard order, and the delivery driver stated that the new order that was received at yard had been accidently placed on the cement millings so was probably not all going be available. I stated my concern for their loss. I placed my 30 yard order, and it was to arrive Thursday. I made the mistake of not inspecting these new loads before dropped. These loads were contaminated with concrete milling and not only the crushed limerock that I ordered. We called and were informed that it would be $300 to remove product at $75 a load. They would offer a $500 credit. However, I did not want to have to pay for removal of the product that was bad, and I still would have had a $500 loss. I stated that I would move the bad mix and only want the delivery of the $1,000 of crushed limerock I paid for in cash. I was denied. Now I have product I cannot use and a $1,000 in losses. I was very disappointed in the customer service from the manager Pedro who upon first meeting was very nice. I was treated with disrespect, and I did feel discriminated against as if they were trying to "pull one off on me" because I was female. The manager Pedro stated that a "female" from HR would call me because that is all he could do. He stated that I had not asked for "clean" crushed limerock so contamination with other substrates was my problem. All I want is the crushed limestone for which I paid. I hope this helps others to learn from my mistakes and be sure that invoices always state "clean" and to inspect all loads. I do not recommend Southern Aggregates. read more

I am a local contractor in the zephyrhills area and I have done business with southern aggregated on many occasions and every single time have been met with disrespectful remarks by the employee who is in charge of loading up customers. it is very unfortunate the prices of this establishment are very competitive, quality is there but one person can ruin it. I have witnessed this employees speak Ill of customers behind there back. If you are only planning to use this business for a one time purchase they are the place to go if you intend to build a relationship and frequent this business think twice about it there are other great business in the area that carry the same product and deliver an all in all way better experience. -very unsatisfied read more

Bad attitude and poor service. Salesperson did not greet me or ask if he could help and acted like I was a bother when I tried to ask questions. He never came out from behind the counter in his little shack to help me. I finally just left and went up the road where I got fantastic service and a great customer experience. I love the fact that when we pulled up we noticed that everyone was taking the proper precautions for Covid as well as ourselves. We first came up on a Gentleman named Steve who helped us out with boulder rocks for our front yard. It did not matter how many questions we asked or how many rocks we had him weigh he always stayed friendly and answered every question. Then I met Jackie at check out, a wonderful person. She gave me all the information I needed and answered all my questions as well. We were so excited about the boulder rocks for our front yard that she set up a delivery for the same day. Pedro was the delivery driver. He was amazing. The rocks were over 800 pounds so they had to be lifted by a Bobcat. He put them exactly where we wanted . We will be purchasing from them again. This "gentleman" (the owner) sold my company a low quality plant that died shortly after being planted. Because we dared tell the customer where the plant came from (and the customer went and made them replace it), he now refuses to do business with us. We have had issues with his quality before ( half dead plants in bulk orders etc.). We will no longer do business wih this company and advise anyone else to look elsewhere if you want your landscape to survive. read more
