My husband and I recently had our wedding at Wedgewood Fallbrook and George of Southern Cali DJs was our DJ. Not only was George easy to work with, he was so professional! Being that I was living in Northern California prior to the wedding, we opted to have a telephone conference call to discuss the music and flow for our special day. He was well prepared for the meeting and even had all the music ready that we had requested. My husband and I have different tastes in music, but George was so helpful in suggesting songs that would be applicable for all our guests. We had a large wedding party and plenty of requests, but George was able to accommodate our requests, which gave me assurance in the midst of all the other preparations that were happening. Days leading to our wedding, there were even a couple of other changes, and George was great in accommodating the last minute changes. Dj George! He was honestly one of our saving graces at our wedding. From the start of booking him, to choosing music, to the wedding day itself, he was the epitome of professionalism and kindness. We had the option to a) choose our own music from start to fnish b) choose some, let him handle the rest or c) let him handle it completely based on examples on what we like. We chose (A) with a mixure of (B). On the day we went over our choices, we like that he made suggestions but didn't push for us to choose it. They were purely suggestions. On the day of the wedding, he arrived earlier than his setup time, and kept the crowd going past his event time. On top of that, his DJ setup was ultra cool: with the lights and the fancy table backing. It had a "premium" look to it at an affordable price! My favorite! The only criticism my guests could give me about the DJ would be that instead of letting the music play from start to finish and then going to next song, try to transition the music seamlessly from one song to the next. A week before the wedding, my husband and I had a hour long phone conversation with him regarding all music to be played from start to finish of the ceremony and the entire reception. You can tell that George is passionate about his job and that he cares about his clients needs. I could tell that he was focused on what we wanted and that we weren't just another wedding for him to host. I am extremely picky about my music so I gave George a complete Spotify playlist for cocktail hour, dinner music and my dancing music. He played from my playlist but also added some songs that went with the genre I was going for. He did a great job at mixing the songs and was even better at getting people involved during the reception. We added on the dance lights for an extra $75 and it definitely made a difference! I feel bad for this late review. After shopping around for a DJ we met Carlos (Our MC) and we felt so comfortable with him and his presentation, direct to the point! Other DJs had tried to impress us with fancy equipments and told us how our wedding should go, but Carlos with his small presentation offered us what we needed and listened to us. I can't say enough good things about my wedding MC/DJ and the entire process leading up to our wedding and the day of. Carlos was great and really made our wedding fun for us and all of our guests.
