Terry and Kristen were my instructors and they were amazing! Both are knowledgeable and passionate and great at teaching. It was a very friendly environment where any and all questions were welcomed and we got to hear examples and stories and they made everything really fun and low pressure but still professional. The owner of the company, Laura, is the one who does the videos for your at-home learning and she is wonderful. Watching the videos felt like listening to a friend. Great to put on while you're driving or doing chores to absorb all the info. She's very professional but also funny and real and she truly wants others to succeed in the industry and feel prepared. You get hours of hands on practice, with a real bar set up and all the real glassware and supplies, plus the dyed liquids to represent all the different liquors and mixers and the faux fruit and mint garnishes were so cute to work with so it all felt like making the real drinks. They have you make drinks and repeat to help you really learn them. There is a lot of information and studying but it doesn't feel overwhelming. The whole vibe of the program is that they want you to do well and leave feeling confident and for me that was definitely accomplished.
