I simply can't say enough good things about this dentist office. The entire staff was beyond awesome. Dr. Barberi and her assistant both took a great amount of time with me explaining what all I needed to have done in the near future. My teeth are in bad shape. I had to have a tooth pulled today and not only did I have zero pain, but I also didn't know when my tooth was pulled, meaning, I felt nothing at all. No tugging, no nothing. It just came out, and very quickly I might add! The only thing that hurt a tad was the numbing injection, but that was because I had to have one done in the roof of my mouth. But, other than that, I felt nothing at all. The entire staff is caring, helpful and very sweet! Like I said, I can't recommend them enough!!! They showed a great amount of concern over my financial situation and helped me come up with an awesome plan that I'm pretty sure I can handle. They are ALL simply amazing!!!

Dr. Perdomo is a very skilled professional and very nice too. When you retire and go on Medicare you will not have Dental insurance unless you buy it. For major work, you can be "private pay" (lower price) or buy Dental insurance and wind up with about the same out-of-pocket expense. Dr Perdomo's staff led me through what would be the best option for me, thank you Milestone Family Dentistry, you guys are awesome! After moving to Fairhope, I went to this dentist based on proximity to my house. I went in for an…read moreannual check up with no current issues. They took the batch of typical X-rays and the next thing the dentist came in and suggested the removal of a tooth next to a dental implant. This is the first dentist I know that has ever suggested not saving a tooth. I contacted my old dentist from another state who took a look at my X-rays they had on file from just a couple months ago and he didn't see the logic. Furthermore, he advised that removing a tooth next to an implant actually causes more harm than good. Added to the insult, the dentist suggested the complete replacement of a perfectly good crown on the implant...a procedure which is NOT covered by insurance vs a "repair" which is covered. I guess some dentists see a couple of implants and think they can get more $$. I have had a lot of dental work done due to an accident so I know probably more about dentists than I care to admit. So, my best advice is to shop around...not all dentists are created equal. Even though dental insurance is pretty crappy, most dentists understand and work with insurance companies. Save your money and shop around and don't ever go to a dentist that suggest replacing perfectly good dental work just to get an extra dollar.

Then they get me out of the chair and take me to this weird waiting room, and the girl says she's "trying to see if the dentist has any appointments today"? WHAT. Tells me he can fix it but hell have to squeeze me in and it will be a couple hours. My "appointment" I made to come right in was only to see what's wrong, not do any work. Translation...run my insurance and get paid for the visit, X-rays, etc etc and then bump the real work off.

He not only explained our options in depth, but he took the time to educate us so we could make informed decisions. I ask about 101 questions, and I never got the feeling like I was a bother. He is very personable, and we felt confident in his abilities. The surgical staff is equally wonderful. My husband had to get several extractions and 2 surgeries. Every time we came to the office, they were very friendly and attentive. They took the time to go over post-op information and answered all my questions. If there's a weak spot, I would say it is the front desk. I would rate them about average for a doctor's office front desk. We never had any bad experiences with them, but nothing stands out about their service either.
