He prescribed an oral medication to take twice a day for 2 months. He said I "might" need to refill it and that we would discuss it at my follow up appointment. My appointment this past Tuesday he berated me for not continuing to take it, called me the equivalent of a liar when I told him how he prescribed it, and said he didn't understand why people can't follow simple directions. I had the same issue as another patient with waiting WEEKS for my glasses (2 years ago) only to find they had not even ordered them because they couldn't verify my insurance info. UHMMMM, they had my current phone number and could have called, but they didn't. I can not understand how a doctor can keep patients waiting an hour past their appointment time and expect to keep that patient coming back. There is a new doctor seeing patients in this office. With two doctors seeing patients, there is no excuse for long waits past scheduled appointments. We showed up per appt for annual checkups. We were informed at checkin that our appt was canceled & Dr Price was no longer associated w Wilson. If we wanted to remain w Wilson we could re-up w another Dr but appts were 4 months out into Oct. Inquiry as to why we were not contacted was not answered satisfactorily. We were told that attempts to contact us were unsuccessful. That's not true. We have communicated w Wilson on past via phone, text & email. No evidence on our end indicated any attempt to contact us. A call would have registered under Wilson name if missed. That hadn't happened. Text or email have not been received. We exited Wilson facility dissatisfied in search of a new optometrist. She will send you for blood work, MRI, X-ray, or anything she feels is necessary to diagnose your condition. In today's society not many doctors want to take on a patient that needs meds or has numerous medical issues because they think you just want medication or they can't just get you in and out like herding cattle. I have found Dr Patterson not afraid to jump on any medical problems you have and be willing to address any issues to be able to treat you.
