Compared to my experience of buying a car from a DC area dealership in 2024, it was the difference between night and day. I was fleeced in that deal and had to pay for too many repairs. That being said the way this business was run didn't change for the first 6 years I went there and I doubt it has in the last 3. Tom and the other guys that work there are very helpful and honest. I always felt like they gave a good price and explained exactly what they were doing to my car. I really appreciate when my mechanic tells me: "A and B need to be fixed immediately, C should be fixed but will be fine for at least another 3 months and D will make your car run a little smoother but isn't hurting anything and may not be worth $$$." Upon arrival I was told that the owners truck was stuck on the lift and it would be at least a half hour before he would arrive and remove it from the lift. I left and returned an hour later and they took my car in and I was told the service would take 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I received a text from the company that told me I had 10 immediate services required including battery terminal replacement, fluid changes and recommend new tires. Note: I just had the tires replaced by another company the day before. When I get to the counter the tech asks me if I have any questions about the text I received and I said No but I have a 20% Holiday Discount I printed from their website. The woman at the counter said my total would be $118 and I asked about the 20% discount and she said my $12 discount was included. I told her 20% of $120 is $24. And she said "this is what the system is telling me". I ended up paying $105 but when I got home I noticed a $8.64 job supply fee. What parts did they need to supply that I didn't receive?? Be warned. They are predatory. I won't be back.

POTENTIAL FRAUD ALERT…read more I took my vehicle to Madison Ford at the end of September for service. At minimum they should have changed my oil, rotated my tires, filled my tires, and filled my fluids. None of those things occurred. For all I know they played poker for the 90 minutes I was sitting in the waiting room. I can prove all of my claims. The excuses they provided for not providing service were so ridiculous that a middle schoolers could see through their lies.

Seems that they took me at my word when I said "check it over and make it safe for me to drive" The attention to detail is just what I was looking for. I also got a full tour of the facility, and the quality of work they do. I was amazed, and extremely happy to have made the decision to bring my Beetle here. We have an '85 Vanagon that we've been driving across the country for the last six weeks or so…read more We've had issues for the past few weeks and have contacted people in pretty much every state we've been through (from Michigan to Maine and now down in Virginia and everywhere in between) and everyone has told us that the soonest they'd be able to get us in is the fall (we live in seattle, so that's not in any way practical). We just happened to drive by skyline on our way to a winery, and figured we'd take the chance and pop in to see if they could help us. I'm so so grateful we did. They obviously have a lot of work on their hands, but they got us in within a few hours. Not only did they fix our exhaust issue, but they showed my husband a few other things that he should look out for and get fixed when we can, and even gave us a few bottles of water to help beat the heat. Really thoughtful, considerate, knowledgeable people. Very much recommend. Thanks so much!
