I saw an ad for Mid City Roofing & Home Improvement Services in the newsletter of my mother-in-law's church, and after seeing so many 5-star reviews of the company on Google, I did further research and saw they are licensed with the State Of Louisiana. Also saw the company has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, so gave them a call and sent an email to them explaining our situation. Marcos, owner of MidCity, called back same day and was at the house the next day. Turns out, my mother in law recognized Marcos from attending daily church services at the same church with him, which says something about his character, if you ask me. The MidCity crew did a fabulous job on the roof at an EXTREMELY REASONABLE price, especially since it was an urgent situation for us...so they came out on a Saturday morning to do the repairs! Wow. I have to hire another roofing company to fix the unresolved problems. When I reached out for assistance, they brushed me off, leaving me to handle it on my own. My roofing job was completed by Ryson in October 2022, it is now September 2024. Three of my neighbors asked about who did my roof, and I advised them not to waste their time. They took my advice and went to another company. I told them this company doesn't stand by their work.

I chose them because of the name, but for what I got, and charge per board, any roofing company probably could have provided the same or better and acted like I was important during the process.
