I visited Dr…read more Dukes in August of 2021 for back pain from a prior accident, seeking x rays and a diagnosis. Initially, Dr. Dukes was very friendly and we started to go over my prior medical history before we went over the x ray results. She asked me a question regarding the Covid-19 vaccine, which I have not received. When Dr. Dukes became aware of me being unvaccinated, she got up, opened the door, and stood in the hallway. Her friendly personality did a 180 and she began to bash me, saying "You're the reason why so many people are dying", "its all because of people like you", "I will not sign you up for in person therapy since you are unvaccinated" and much more. Keep in mind that we were both wearing n95 masks the entire time. After arguing through the doorway for a few minutes, she closed the door and sent in an assistant to reschedule the meeting via Zoom. I declined and made my out of the office. This was, by far, the least professional interaction I've had with anyone in my life. Would never recommend anyone to Dr. Heather Dukes or her office.

The lady said the only thing available would be in Indianapolis which home health care workers don't provide transportation to, but l found a new doctor much closer. All my specialists are in Bloomington or Martinsville or Mooresville but this person doesn't even believe in Chronic Traumatic Enphalitis Seizure Disorder which are monitored electronically. She called my neurologist incompetent! He's lovely and intelligent and very well respected!

I rarely have to wait to get to see the doctor, and the time spent face-to-face with Dr. Porter is valuable, friendly and time well spent. They recently moved from Madison Avenue to E. Countyline Rd, in Greenwood located conveniently across the street from the new Costco. They are part of the Franciscan Physician Group. Note their new name is now Madison Family Medicine (previous name was Madison Avenue Family Practice). I paid a recent wellness visit to my primary care physician, Dr. Shelley Stiner, DO, who practices at this facility. Upon arriving at their beautiful new location, I found the facility to have a large waiting area with plenty of seating, magazines and flat screen TVs to enjoy while waiting for my appointment. The staff has always been very friendly from the front desk to the nursing assistants. Dr. Stiner always listens carefully to my concerns and offers healthy alternatives to prescriptions where possible. She is very pleasant and professional. I have always had short wait times on all of my visits and scheduling for appointments or a referral has been very easy when working with their office staff. Lastly, I love their "My Chart", web portal....you can schedule appointments see your past visits, Billings, request a prescription refill and various other things related to your healthcare experiences. They have an excellent response time to their emails that have been submitted to this portal. After each visit I receive an emailed survey of my most recent visit to complete if I choose to do so. I have always seen Dr. Stiner, but I believe they have at least one nurse practitioner and possibly more and other doctors available. For this large of facility I'm sure they have to have other physicians, but I don't have that information. Actually as I was walking out the door I saw sign for a new physician. (See photo attached) If you are ever in need of a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, I highly recommend giving Dr. Stiner a try if she is accepting new patients. I have been with her for approximately 1 1/2 years due to my doctor retiring and wanting to try a DO for my healthcare needs. Due to her high demand, I had to wait initially about six months until she was able to accept a new patient. (I had to keep calling every so often to see if they were accepting new patients). I hit it lucky I guess and on one call was told she was taking on new patients. At this point in time, I'm very happy with their services and the new location of this practice. Review #28 08/11/16

It was really simple to make an appointment over the phone, and I got in within a matter of days. For being a new patient, I thought that was unheard of. The building is very modern and clean, and the office is ran efficiently. I didn't have to wait very long before I was called back to the exam room. I saw Stacia Groover-Maltby, who was very thorough and friendly, and did a great job of answering any questions I had. I ended up having blood drawn, which was conveniently done in the lab in the same building. I was told I would be called with results, but after a week of waiting, I hadn't heard anything yet. I'm sure this is just an oversight, but I am able to see test results on the MyChart website, so I know they are probably getting through their call list. I would recommend this doctor's office, as they have many providers in different fields of expertise.
