The ceiling has Spanish Moss hanging from it, making you feel like you're under the canopy of soaring trees in a swamp. At Christmastime, there's a huge tree and cheerful employees at the entrance welcoming you in. You really can't hate it here as much as you try. It's a one stop shop for those with masculine urges (killing things, being one with the elements, grilling dead things)--it's unapologetically so. And this vegan city slicker is definitely not their target audience but I like to have an open mind and I do appreciate the fact that you can find many many practical things here. I'm just not the most practical person. For example, I bought my boat here (2017 Tahoe 1950). Do I even know how to drive the thing? No. But my husband drives me around in it. I hate driving. I like boats. And I can handle nature in small doses (preferably not on triple digit high humidity days). And until you have floated or zipped around these glorious Louisiana waterways, you can't tell me that you are allergic to nature! Also, this is going to sound weird, but the ambiance at Bass Pro is dark lodge with an actual cabin and pond with fish in the middle of the store, while Cabela's has bright florescent lighting and an enormous regionally inappropriate mountain scene with giant taxidermied elk, deer and... a polar bear. The parking lot has adequate spaces. The restaurant looks like it has enough seating for a good bit of customers. We had a party of approximately 15. We ordered several appetizers and entrees. The appetizers came out fairly quick. I didn't take a picture of it but we ordered the boudin egg-rolls. EXCUSE ME?? WHAT? YES!!! That good! Get them! I would've gotten them as a meal with a salad had I known! So good! I was intrigued by the muffuletta pizza so I ordered it on the cauliflower crust. Pretty good! Several people ordered the ribeye and said it was good. Nice size and it comes with a salad and another side. That is still a good deal in my opinion! Our server was really attentive. Sadly, imma have to revoke Walmart's temporary soul food selling card. They have no business selling chitt'lin seasoning. If you know how to cook chitterlings aka chitt'lins then you don't need this. They just broke a cardinal rule of soul food cookery. FYI...I don't eat these anymore because the old folk that cooked them are gone and they were clean. Can't trust some of these cooks today lol.

Absolute garbage customer service and "hours". Brought an old Remington shotgun in to have some…read morework done, they ordered parts without notifying me, was left with a $200 bill in just parts on a $250 gun. Called every 4 days or so, didn't pick up. Drove by on a Tuesday around 2pm, sign said they were open, but door was locked and lights were off. This is a regular occurrence. I think the only reason they have a store front is so that they could build class three machine guns, not to run a business.
