It is very much a "business over student" mentality and there is a major lack of communication. The school does not have / does not want to provide the resources to address individual children's needs. Although past reviews are positive and we were drawn to them, this is not at all the environment that currently exists. EDIT in light of the director's response: Books were not provided until AFTER I pointed out how this school was violating Oregon Administrative Rules requiring quiet activities for non-napping children during nap time. I also witnessed video footage of nap time where *multiple* children were being loud and disruptive, not solely my child. This is more evidence of how certain students have become targeted in cycles at this school.

A great way to escape the heat but bring a jacket because they keep it cold! just mom and gma felt cold not the kids... Everything was clean and the staff was friendly too. I have been getting regular haircuts at Medford Phagans since 2007. Out of well over a hundred visits I only received one haircut that got me the evil eye from my wife. Normally I ask for a first year student, and after the first two or three "OK" haircuts end up with a regular barber/stylist who knows my hair characteristics and my personal preferences... giving me consistently very good results until such time as they graduate. I then start over. On the other hand, if my regular is not available and/or I need an especially good job for a special event I simply tell the staff. They have always hooked me up with a senior who has sufficient experience to do an excellent job first time. Good people. My son started there when the school first opened. I love her enthusiasm, structure, and play-based ideas. She also does really fun science experiments throughout the year. The yard where the school is has an AMAZING garden and my son has learned some valuable gardening skills as a side bonus. No complaints here! Love the school and love what changes I have seen in my son since he started.
