Hands down the best gun shop in Medford. I state this with no offense whatsoever to any other of my 2A friends running other shops in town, I support many local businesses. That said, I have watched BFA blossom from a back alley shop to a fully functional gunsmithing lab, now offering custom work, cerakote, stippling, laser engraving, and even proxy shooting courses led by a Navy SEAL. It's also nice to have it run and stuffed by competent younger people. They know the guns and products we want (Silencer Shop kiosk, for example) and treat customers respectfully. We took our brand new Marlin 357 Lever Gun to the Range. After a few rounds it jammed badly and we could not get the jam cleared. The chamber was clear but the round was stuck in the elevator. We were heading back to California and did not want to transport a loaded gun back into Gun Unfriendly California. I called Black Flag Armory and spoke to John. He said bring it in and we will get you fixed up. Upon arriving at Black Flag John greeted us. With safety in mind we unlocked the Gun Case and showed John it was unloaded but jammed in the elevator. He went to work and in about 15 minutes the gun was cleared and back together good as new. John gave us some recommendations as how to break in the gun as it was our first lever action rifle. 5 Star Fantastic Service and if I lived in Oregon I would be making ALL my gun and ammo purchases from Black Flag Armory! read more

The atmosphere is very pleasing, the music is on point, the patch selection is whimsical. They don't have a large amount of product in store, but I have no doubt they can get you anything your all American heart desires. Great local shop! The guys are very knowledgeable and keep a variety of guns and accessories. I've purchased multiple firearms from them. They always call and notify me as soon as my orders are available for pickup. I wish the city would give them a little more signage, the first time you go they are little hard to find since the entrance does not face the street. All and all great local gun shop! BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I called on a Sunday and John answered. I told him I was looking for a model 29 S&W blued with a 6 1/2" barrel which are no longer made anymore for my dad's 70th birthday. He told me he would call around and get back to me in an hour. He did contact me and found a used ones. I told home I really wanted one with a wooden case and he said he would call around Monday and get back to me, John called me around noon the following day and had found a brand new model 29 with a case exactly the way I wanted it for a great price and made my search for a birthday present for my dad a breeze.
