I'm Muslim & very conservative but my Pakistani husband wanted me to get my nose pierced (it's a cultural thing for him) as far as I know the only place to get nose piercings are at tattoo parlors... So when I walked in it was a bit scary it smelled like incense & cigarettes & all the guys are coated in tattoos and just looked odd to me.. Criss did my nose piercing... even though he looked scary he was very nice & respectful he took his time to explain what he was going to do & what to expect & how to care for it.. I appreciate that.. piercings are cash only & I had planed to use my card so I was short $2 & Criss told the guy doing the paperwork that he would do it for what I had on me & I was very appreciative of that too.. One even told me he didn't have time. A man finally took a picture of the design and told me to wait a few minutes while he printed it out and got it ready. 25 minutes I'm still waiting. Meanwhile the first ones to look at the design sat casually talking, including the one who told me he didn't have time. Apparently if your design doesn't meet what they want to do, they are not interested. I would never go back or recommend the arrogance I encountered in this shop.

I debated for while about doing this review, but after the redeeming experience I had at my new…read morefavorite tattoo and piercing studio, I decided this needed to be said. I had a completely botched septum piercing done at Sir Dapper. I reached out to them after a few days of having a very tender piercing, which brought tears to my eyes at the slightest touch. I posted a picture of it on a piercing forum and was told by MULTIPLE people that this was one of the worst septum piercings they had seen, that this person should lose their license, that they essentially barely even pierced my nose because the skin was so thin there. I reached out to Sir Dapper about this in an attempt to give the benefit of the doubt and educate their piercer on this error. Since I had paid in cash and literally moved across the country the next day, I knew that getting a refund of my $55 payment and $20 tip would not be possible, nor would having it be redone, but possibly they could get some knowledge from my experience. Upon reaching out, I was then was told that "no, actually it was done correctly and must have been rejecting," which is entirely false because the first photo shown here was taken mere moments after I left the studio- showing that the piercing did not migrate even a millimeter from where it was initially pierced and simply was never going to make it due to the extremely poor placement. After having an exceedingly great and vastly contrasting experience at a new APP approved studio near my new home, I felt the need to post this as a warning to others looking for piercings. Research your piercers and find APP approved studios near you, or make a day trip like I did to go to one because it really makes a difference. I regret my decision to get my septum pierced at Sir Dapper. As for customer service, accountability goes a long way.
