And, I've found it quite difficult to find the right fit, to be honest. So, early on, I really struggled to find the right physician and group for my kids. And, the fact is, when you choose your child's doctor, you aren't just making that choice - you are choosing the office staff, the physical office space and location, the hours, the other group physicians, etc. We lived in Franklin years ago, when my kids were little. I have plenty of "horror" stories of the various physicians and groups we tried out then. From 2004-2008 we were in Florida, and it was even more difficult there - I never found a physician I was confident in! When moving back to Tennessee, a lot of prayer (yes! prayer) went into my search for a new pediatrician. Dr. Pinkley was the first we saw, and we've never regretted that decision. Fantastic facility (and I've been in some nasty offices!), pleasant and helpful staff, generous office hours, great nurses, and we've had good experiences with the other doctors, the few times we were unable to see Dr. Pinkley. We've used this group for 7 years now, and never looked back. We love Dr. Pinkley!

Dr. Lohse is so personable, so caring and clearly explains things - usually using visual examples. My son has had tummy issues, and they were so sympathetic, kind and knowledgeable. I could go on and on. I highly, highly recommend. The practice also has an on-call nurse available, so you can call in during business hours with any questions - fabulous for a new mama. They follow up after appointments to check on us, and make sure we're doing all right. They've given us samples of formulas, probiotics, etc...above and beyond. They also have an awesome website with a ton of FAQ's and such.

Parents should be cautious of any provider who unquestioningly follows guidelines set forth by institutions funded by corporate special interests, regardless of the specific medical discipline. This practice turns patients away based on political beliefs, not medical ones, and is arguably out of compliance with their Hippocratic oath to uphold medical ethics. New patients beware, and do not allow yourselves to be scared or browbeaten into submitting to intravenous injections for your infant child based on fear-based tactics set forth by for-profit megacorp.

If this happens to you it's for the best. I would never recommend anyone to this place. Kindness is next level. Researched and understood explanations are at a zero. Find another option that is not incentivized to keep your child on a vaccine plan that may or may not be good for them.
