Dr. Bennie came highly recommended to us through a friend when we moved here almost 7 years ago. My son has a lot of medical conditions. Some are very serious. The entire staff and our pediatrician, Dr. Bennie have gone above and beyond for us numerous times. Everyone at Harpeth have been exceptional with his care. He is very immune compromised and they have been Extremely precautious about keeping us safe and healthy even through the pandemic. We have three teenagers that have gotten their physicals and immunizations there. Over the past six months alone, they have made two errors on their immunization records. In one case, they gave a shot and didn't even record it on my son's form. We had to remind them the next time we came in when it was missing. Also, terribly inconvenient to get records to the school as they will not fax directly. Had to call several times and leave messages. Such a hassle. read more

We have gone here for a while and love the doctor we see. However, the cleanliness of the rooms/blinds/chairs/floors could be better. The entire practice is VERY outdated and makes it look even more dirty/old. Some fresh paint and new furniture could really help! read more

As a newbie mommy I interviewed many pediatricians in the area...and this one sold me. Dr. Anne Hawkins is one of the founding doctors and is superb. She has five kids of her own, so she can relate to any issue or concern. The first time we met her, she wore casual clothes and had fake kiddie tattoos on her arms. She took her time answering our questions and not once did we feel rushed. The office is very clean and kid friendly, with two waiting rooms...the sick side and the well side...and though germs are floating around in both rooms, it's reassuring for most not to sit your kiddo next to the one with the running snot. If you have a more serious issue, you can most times still get a walk-in as they prioritize illnesses. I highly recommend you go for an interview and give them a shot...no pun intended??? read more

We have been seeing Dr Myers for a couple of years now and adore her. The front desk and nursing staff have been great as well. As far as the review from another Yelper who complained that the office wouldn't call in a prescription for his daughter- as a health care provider myself, I simply see this as responsible medical practice. It is careless and irresponsible to call in an Rx for an illness that you haven't evaluated, and unfair to ask a provider to do so! Highly recommend this medical practice! read more

The doctor was nice but we waited over an hour (in the room) for our appointment. Keeping, an already anxious 5-year old, calm for that long, knowing he had a shot coming was difficult and somewhat insensitive on the doctor's part, I felt. read more

Although Dr. Jennifer Myers at this practice is perfectly great, Dr. David Reid Collins was incredibly rude, unprofessional, condescending and downright nasty when it came to OUR decision with regard to what vaccinations to give our 12 year old (perfectly healthy) son. We have taken our kids to Harpeth Pediatrics ever since our twin were first born 13 years ago. All the doctors are wonderful, patient, and very kid friendly. I can't even imagine going anywhere else! LOVE Harpeth Peds! They always try to get us In when we need to, the nurses call back in a timely manner, and we have NEVER had any issues... Three boys and 13 years later I am still thrilled with the doctors and staff. They are like family! read more

Dr Collins is great with kids, great sense of humor and is a great pediatrician. He will not give medicine unless a child needs it but he will always have a solution. read more

Great place if you have over two hours to spend with your child on a well visit. It's a 30 min wait for the nurse, then a 30 min wait for the doctor, then a 30 min wait for the shots. Truly unbelievable how slow this place is. We were in the office for 2 hours and probably spent a total of 15 minutes with the nurse and doctor. read more

I would not recommend this group. The entire practice has lost sight of caring for patients and is focused on the almighty dollar. Our most recent experience comes from being out of town for the holidays and our child comes down with flu like systems. We have been using them for the last four years for both of our children so we are established patients and users. We called to have them call in something for our oldest child and they said they would not call anything in for him without seeing him. Honestly! They wanted us to drive four hours rather than calling in a script. Clearly they are more worried about getting an office visit fee than caring for their patients. Bad form, Harpeth Pediatrics, bad form. We'll be looking for a new pediatrician when we get pack to town and looking for someone who cares more about their patents than their fees. read more

My son has been going to Dr. Andy Huss on and off (due to moves) for 3 years. He loves going there! Dr. Huss is very kind and understanding. He's playful with my son and really good with him. The staff have been great. It's always been easy to get in for a sick visit. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Huss! read more

Not only are they rude and judgemental, they are also incompetent. Since I am not an insurance professional, nor do I work in the billing dpt at a medical office, I should not have to manage my childs medical claims. The doctors office should be trusted to do things correctly the first time. I have left multiple messages for the office manager, Angie, but apparently she doesnt return calls. I began taking my daughter there because I was referred by someone else. At my first two appointments, I was charged a copay. One of these was only a weight check...my child didnt even see a doctor. After the 2nd visit, I found out that all of her well care was covered without a copay. I called the office and explained that we are a young couple just starting out and we really need that money. At the 3rd visit, the receptionist said I needed to pay a copay. I explained to him that there is no copay and he argued with me for about 5 minutes before calling UHC and verifying. After all of this, I get a bill for $150 for "services" my child received when she was born...4 months prior. I called UHC and they said AGAIN, that all of her well visits, including the hospital visits, would be covered without a copay or deductible. I have received 3 bills. Each time, I have called Angie....no response. So finally, I spoke with an incredibly rude person named Lynn who advised me that I must pay or be 'terminated' from the practice. I told her she needed to resubmit the claim...she refused. I explained to her that this is my first child and I plan on having at least one more. I told her she could fix the bill or lose my business. She chose to lose my business. I switched pediatricians that day. And of course, I have asked Harpeth Pediatrics to fax my childs medical records 3 times...they have yet to do so. So, to sum it up, there are lots of GREAT peditricians in the Williamson County area. My advice is to go to a practice who actually values your business and wants you as a patient. Not another run of the mill, cattle-call practice with a full waiting room. read more
