They weren't able to help me, but they were very nice. I got there just after they closed and they still came out to talk to me.

So I bought my 2016 200 Chrysler last August . Now , remind you I traded my 2008 in for this car…read morethinking I had up graded.... never went to shop as much as I'm doing now with a 2016 .... I came in at 8:00 a.m. in the morning for them to tell me thermostat went out .... oh, I'm sorry correction Chris Greer didn't call me to give me an update on the progress of my car .....I go back to the auto nation only to find out that my car was not ready ! Remind you it was 4:00 p.m. I asked Chris how long does it take for you guys to put a thermostat in oh, like 3 hours .... really ? I'm thinking can he calculate it's been over three hours ..... so, my car should be ready right ? No,it wasn't ready ... when I asked to speak to a manger he smacked his lips ... The manger was nice of course , and made sure I had a ride when I went to enterprise.....The next day I come back my car was ready May 3,2017 .... Only to come back a day later May 5,2017 really? For a different thing now my heater went out ,and oh ,did I mention I smelled antifreeze ....I would not recommend this place ! I don't think they even know what the hell they doing ! An update I just left and I would recommend Trey Jett & his team for any issues or concerns!!He had wonderful customer service not only that he apologize for his peers actions concerning customer service that I had experience a day before ....It was the same identical problem, but he did fix the situation , and told me the problem. If I come back to this Auto Nation I would come to Trey and his team ! Thank you again!

Brought in our 2021 Honda Odyssey Touring, that we've owned since new, for a routine oil change…read more The service was completed, or so I hope. Two weeks later I went to replace the cabin and engine air filters and noticed that the coolant was an inch below minimum. I checked the "routine service inspection" sheet and it was marked as "good". There was literally probably 5 ounces in the reservoir. This is, in fact, not good. Now I question if the entire inspection and service was a sham. To put the icing on the cake, they even tried to give me a cash offer on our vehicle by phone as I pulled out of the dealership. I'll most likely go elsewhere for service.

Least expected to write this review as during the sales process everything was perfectly fine but…read moreafterwards is where my problems began. I purchased a 2019 Mercedes CLS53 AMG, when I saw the vehicle I asked if i could get a PPI (pre purchase inspection ) they denied it & assured me the vehicle has been through a rigorous 135 point inspection & sold it to me with a 90 day limited warranty. Since purchasing on August 27th almost 2 months ago the vehicle has been in the shop for over a month, from a coolant leak from a failed heater pipe to a turbo line leaking oil to now the oil leaking from deep within engine block from the high pressure fuel pump. (*update from when I first wrote this in my notes: Cam position sensor also leaking oil) The vehicle has over 35 hours & counting of in-shop service repairs. At the time of this review I still do not have my vehicle. Along with the vehicle being in absolute terrible mechanical shape, I paid cash for this car Aug 27th 2024 & now on Oct. 22nd still have not received the title (*update Received on 10/29/24)I reached out to my salesperson Josh multiple times to which he said he would check for me & now stopped responding to me all together. I called last Tuesday (10/15) spoke with Kevin the used car manager who said he would both check on status of my title & see if he can speak with his higher ups on if they can help me in anyway for the over $8,000 in repairs my car has succumbed to, which again is absolutely abysmal on a 2019 with only 54k miles. Kevin did not call me back on 10/15 as he said he would to update me on status of my title nor did he reach back out by that Friday 10/18 where he said he would have word from some of the higher ups on what they can do to alleviate this horrible situation. I instead called Kevin myself 10/21 hoping he would have an answer for both things but he just transferred me to someone's voicemail. I ended up speaking with someone eventually on status of my title & though it's absolutely ridiculous to have to wait 2 months for a title, Im happy someone gave me some sort of update. Now, autonation is a huge company & I was happy with their professionalism during the purchase process, however true colors always shine after the fact & that is exactly what is happening here. Usually it is the smaller lower end dealerships you have these problems with but unfortunately I and a ton of other people from these reviews have also dealt with super rough vehicles that Im not entirely sure how they get mechanically approved. I have all receipts from the repairs, little over 9 weeks of ownership & I have had the car for a total of maybe 2 weeks. Over $8,000 in repairs, was given 90 day warranty from auto-nation which of course does not cover all repairs, I have personally paid over $3,000 of the repairs from my pocket, along with towing costs when the vehicle broke down. Im sure there will be a generic comment asking me to call a GM. I did not want to write this review but their actions here have left me no choice at all.

I WILL NEVER bring ANY vehicle back to these people. They can't get their story straight they constantly have different employees working in the front. I am sooo over! Even one of their employees told me to go elsewhere for repairs and WHY DIDN'T I LISTEN! They made repairs to my vehicle then I started having issues again with it less than a month later and they tell me they couldn't get me in until a few days later...I had to go to a military school THE NEXT DAY! Soooo I had no choice but to catch a plane and deal with it when I get back. When I come back and try to get the issue fixed they then tell me, they will tow it in. I go in to check on the vehicle they want me to pay for the tow bill and say that the issue was other things not just the issue they worked on... DO NOT even get me started on the manager...worthless! Completely WORTHLESS! Terrible customer service! The money wasn't the issue, it was the principle. They have LOST a loyal customer! And TO THINK I was about to buy a vehicle from them...I will take my money somewhere it's not sucked out of me! UPDATE: I general manager David contacted me through email and MORE than made the situation right. He was respectful and willing to go more than the extra mile. I am very pleased with the final results. 2 stars added because of the general manager and his willing to put forth that extra step to make sure he made right any wrong his employees may have caused.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER…read more AutoNation Columbus sold me a damaged Palisade and made it worse with every "repair." The car had 1,300 miles instead of 22. It came back with MORE damage, including scratches, a dent, and eventually a torn door panel. They refused to answer calls for weeks, and one staff member (Shareena) treated us extremely rudely. Even Hyundai corporate couldn't get them to respond. All I want is proper repairs from a different AutoNation location because I don't trust Columbus to touch my vehicle again. Steer clear.

The TLDR version, AutoNation CDJR in Columbus doubled their estimate only after they had managed to…read moreslap a $200 diagnostic charge, Took our Grand Caravan in for an estimate of a known problem, a failed sliding door actuator, a common enough problem that Chrysler was forced to extend the warranty over. Unfortunately for us, our milage put us past the extended warranty, so we knew we would have to pay. We asked for the estimate and was told $300 labor, plus parts. We went to the parts department and was told $255 for the part. We decided to make an appointment (mistake #1). We showed up at 7:45 AM and they took our van back while we waited. They then came back with an estimate for $1150, nearly $450 more than our regular mechanic estimated. The part had somehow increased in price to $368 dollars. Mind you, they did not find any greater problem than when we came in for the original estimate, the original estimate was knowingly inaccurate. They said I did not have to get the work done, but I now owed the $200 for diagnosing the problem, the exact problem I told them we had when we came in. Since we were in for $200 already and had already faced the aggravation of dealing with this issue, we OK'd the repair (mistake #2). Since the job is supposed to take an hour and ten minutes and they told us they had already started, we decided to wait (mistake #3). Despite getting there at 7:45 AM we were the very last people out of the garage that day at 6:45 PM. We were clearly customers that did not rate in their eyes. We'll be looking for a new car in about a year and a half. I recommend Mike Patton in Lagrange. We have always been treated well by them.
