Travis is awful. Worst person to hire and do business with. Shortly after hiring him he sent third party contractors to the house. Completely altered the original plans. They attempted hide tons of left over concrete on my property. Broke my fence and denied it. Left foot prints in the fresh concrete and tried to blame it on is. When they ran out of pavers they started laying down whatever and the pattern is all messed up. They cant make anything level to save their life. The third party would tell me the next steps and what they were working on. Following day wouldnt be done and would lie that he never said specific things. Had to get my dad involved legally. He admitted to faults then and wouldnt repair them. years later hes still a no show. We are currently having a new contractor fix his mistakes so we can finally move through the steps and take him to court. Beware. read more

Ok so we're a year later and I'm having multiple issues. 1. Expensive planted trees have died and had to be replaced by me. I was told by my new landscaper that the trees were never taken out of the burlap ball and one of the trees had metal wiring that stopped the roots. 2. 8 bushes that I was told were deer tolerant were eaten. I sent a picture to the owner showing the deer eating them the day after planting and was told he'd spray the bushes and if they died, he'd replace. They were never sprayed except by me and died and were not replaced. 3. The yard was never rolled out and there are many divots and holes. I must say that the initial planting and landscape was great but there was no follow up. After I started seeing major problems, he stopped maintenance and not heard from since. read more

** WARNING** Southern Quality Landscape I attempted to do business with this company to build a retaining wall. During this process the owner breached his contract countless times. At the time I confronted him, he requested A LOT more money or he would walk away from the job site leaving a BIG mess. (Of which he did quit and left my yard in the ruin) Then he reported the wall, he built, to ALL Code Enforcement Authorities and put my home in violation because the wall is illegal. Apparently, he never got a permit for the build and there wasn't any source for water drainage behind the wall before backfilling it. (This prevents the wall from collapsing after moisture buildup) I wasn't aware of them not following code at the time due to me working. Also, it is listed in the contract that he would abide by all laws and codes but obviously didn't. read more

I recently had my yard maintenance done with southern quality landscape and I could not be happier. They took hours moving the massive amount of leaves and debris that have accumulated during the fall, they even cleaned out under the deck which was a pleasant surprise. The yard looks completely different. I am very pleased with the results. read more

As far as customer service this company has lots to learn. Delays not due to the client should not be treated as such. When your people do not show up as promised and therefore the project is delayed don't ever take it out on your customer. Also this company is not good at keeping the client informed when they are not going to show up or work will be delayed. Then doing a half-### job. Quote turn around was super quick and Travis was very responsive. The lower rating is due to the quality of work which was just ok. This company was the cheapest but the walk way they poured doesn't look super professional. Also annoying-the crew left a bunch of their trash from lunch on our lawn and didn't clean up after themselves. read more

Travis and his crew came out to complete some work on my neighbors house a few weeks back. He came onto my property without permission and chewed up some of my lawn with his equipment. He promised he'd come back to fix the damages. Now it's been weeks of calling him and leaving messages and he refuses to make it right. Travis has done weekly maintenance on my home for almost a year. Our experience with him has been better than our prior lawn company. His team always comes out and does a great job. They even winterized my Rose bushes even though it was not part of our normal maintenance. I will personally attest that Travis is a stand up guy who will listen to any concerns you have and fix it. Travis and Southern Quality is being sued by many customers for poor work, sued by suppliers for unpaid invoices and now being sued by former employees for not giving payroll. He thought he could pull a fast one by having his parents home as the business address. But we have done our work to see he lives with his girlfriend at 2089 Ivey chase drive dacula, ga. Excellent work!!! We had to find a new company for lawn maintenance and I'm so happy I found Travis! We have Bermuda in the front yard and Fescue in the backyard he mows the fescue longer like it's supposed to be done (north metro lawn care who we used before didn't have the same attention to detail). Travis just finished installing more fescue sod in the back, a border of mondo grass, boxwoods, and azaleas next to the house in the back. His price was excellent and the yard looks fabulous!!! Spent all day making sure the yard was graded and drained properly. Everything was completely cleaned up and washed off before he left. Love love love him!!! read more
