I hired an independent (smaller company) tree service before hiring DTS, and it was a nightmare! DTS was reffered to me by a family friend and I'm happy they were. We needed our backyard cleared for a new playground set for our kids. DTS is These 100% capable of handling big or small jobs. This company has all the right employees and equipment. All limb debris were chipped onsite and leftover large logs were neatly staged roadside for pick up, while all lose debris were hauled away in a dump truck! The crew shows up and waste no time getting right to it! We are so happy we hired them and will not hesitate contacting them again for future projects. I was outside speaking to the plumber and saw the Duncan truck driving by. We flagged him down, he gave us and estimate on the spot and was out the next day. The Maple was about 80 ft tall and close to the house. They cut it down with no damage to the property and cleaned everything up. Honestly, you would have never known they were there or the tree was there. They are amazing, professional, dependable and the pricing is fantastic. The owner was professional and punctual when he came to look at the trees to give me an estimate. He ended up advising to cut a third tree down because it was right next to the creek that runs behind our house and the roots were exposed and it could come down if the ground got too wet. This is the reason we took down the other trees. He gave us a very good quote compared to the guys that came after. They arrived on time on the day of the service. They even had to take my fence down and did it seamlessly. They took care of my property as well as the plant and grass in the area. When they got finished they left my yard clean of any debris and they put my fence back up to where it looks like nothing ever happened. He said he would do his best to get out sooner, but he couldn't make any promises since there was so much rain and they were backed up, but then they wound up coming out the very next morning, which was a week earlier than our actual appointment. During the process, they destroyed our front yard, side yard, as well as the entire back yard. When it was brought to his attention, we were told "it's part of demo mode." We were then supposed to reuse rock we already had, that was less than a year old. Instead of anyone ling the rock and putting it on a tarp, they used a bobcat and ruined all the rock because they were covered in mud (white rocks.) Mike got into a cussing match with my husband and then told us we had to come put an extra $1000 because his team destroyed our yard, and we now needed it fixed. He even told my husband that he wished he never worked with us and couldn't wait to be done. The yard was left uneven, caps were not sealed, the staircase was sideways and uneven and worst of all, anytime it rains, mud and rock shoot all over the patio and stairs. The worst experience we have ever had and I would never recommend them to anyone!!!!!
