They no-showed TWICE to a scheduled inspection that I had to schedule time off work to accommodate. The communication on their end is horrendous. People within the same company tell you different things and they don't follow up. Had people showing up to my house unannounced as well. They also didn't want to do an the repairs that were recommended and basically had to tell them to do it. Fast forward 4 years and needing some roof repair. I only called them for potential warranty coverage. Someone came out on 5/31 and I never heard from them again. I called the week after and they said they were working on a quote for me but no response. I called again the week after and they tried to schedule another inspection later in the week, even though I already had one. I asked for a manager to call me back and they said they would same day. Still no response a week later. They can't even provide a simple quote for a repair. If you want to be left in the dark and frustrated, go with Elevated Roofing, where the only thing elevated is your blood pressure.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a purchase this big…read more Not only did they completely miss the mark with matching the other side of my yards fence then they completely screwed up written and confirmed directions. I had an extension on one side of my fence and those posts were facing the inside of my yard they added the posts to the outside of the fence extension. This, of course, was not what I wanted, because who would? Not not only would it not match my backyard, but it would piss my neighbors off because if they wanted to add a gate or wall to their side as well it wouldn't match for them either. And instead of owning up to their mistake, they tried to convince my mother that it would be fine that way. When I confronted them with this and asked them to change it. They told me that the concrete was already set and the post could not be removed. Funny they just ripped out posts that were set in concrete down into my yard on the other side, but they can't do it on the side. They screwed up on..not me. The gentleman eventually called my mother back, not me to tell her that he saw the error and would get it fixed but instead of fixing it correctly, they dug up the Posts and reset them about 6 inches more inward. Total lack of professionalism and integrity I am disgusted with these people.

First of all, we had to watch and direct the workers since there was never a project manager on site. (Thank goodness I work from home or so many more problems would have occurred) The working crew didn't know about the third gate, a retention wall along our driveway, and other aspects of our agreement that never made it to the actual crew from better built. We paid for an 8 foot fence, replacing a six and a half foot fence. The crew built a fence that is shorter than what we had. We brought this to the attention of the company while still in the building process and better built employee, Trey, actually gaslit my mom and lied to her. There were many moments where their professionalism was put into question, but this one took the cake. The massive muddy mess made by the fence builders, was left uncleaned in the yard for three days! Me and my father had to clean it up because we have pets. They also chopped our electric lines and made all our lights on the back deck not work. The most disappointing part is that the fence was unbelievably expensive and we still didn't get what we wanted.

Long version: Scenario - It's a freezing (sub 40 degree) day in North Texas and I'm out of town on a business trip with my wife, son and mother-in-law at our home in Flower Mound. Wife calls and says the heater is not kicking on. She calls an HVAC company who comes by checks the heater in the attic and says, the unit is working however there is a pipe that vents through the roof of the attic that seems clogged or bent, but they don't do those type of repairs and she would need to call a roof company. Frantically, I scour Yelp for a good review and find people glowing about Bret's service and I give him a call. It's late in the day on Friday and when I explain the scenario, he immediately sprung into action and helped us resolve the issue. I'm going to highlight multiple reasons why Bret, owner of Texas Pride Roofing and Fencing will always have my business for roof and fence needs for as long as I live in the DFW metroplex. 1. Promptness - When I called Bret although it was later in the day, he was willing to head to our home and check out the situation, getting to our home in a couple of hours due to the severity of the situation. 2. Honesty - He took photos of the situation and gave a fair assessment of the situation. In this instance he said, "I don't have all of the parts that I need now but I can get you up an running for today, and then come back next week after I'm able to get the parts when I can get to a supply shop" 3. Thorough - He was on the roof, in the attic, and investigating the situation from every angle. Shared photos of his assessment, and was descriptive about what he was doing. 4. Genuine - The first time he came to the house, he hopped on FaceTime to talk to me and make me feel at ease with him at the house with my wife and family. You can look at someone's eyes and know that they are being sincere, that is this guy 100% 5. Follow up - It took him coming to the house a few times to get the situation completed, and I had to ask him for an amount that I owed him. He wanted to make sure that I was satisfied before asking for money. A true stand up guy, good business man, and yes, the roof is fixed, the exhaust pipe repaired, and the heat is working. These are all pictures that Bret provided, the first four (4) showing the problem and the last two (2) showing the repaired duct work and exhaust/vent pipe Although this was not a typical roofing job, Bret went above and beyond to make sure our family was warm and comfortable.
