Public WARNING! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FIRM: BEFORE YOU READ THIS. PROTECT YOURSELF We contacted this firm to get an estimate on having a roof totally replaced, on one of our home. First, I will point out. These guys are masters at contacting YOUR insurance company on record. We asked twice via text, twice by email and we never got a estimate, however. Staff member, to wit: Aaron Grigsby did state in one email, its what ever your insurance adjuster finds. RED FLAG. After a week of waiting for the written estimate, We were in fact surprised, that this same staff member had made contact with our insurance adjuster on numerous accounts. OVER FIVE. SECOND RED FLAG. The third thing happened was: on the day of the inspection: I was absent due to a work call and I asked my Roommate to attend. He did. En route home, I get a call from the roommate stating he had signed a agreement. I flew into a rage; 1. it wasn't just a agreement for them to do the work. There's a clause in the paperwork, YELLOW in color, that states you agree to sign over YOUR INSURANCE check totally amount over to SOUTHERN ROOFING. Stay with me, grab some coffee or hot tea.. This is where it gets HOT. Staff with SOUTHERN ROOF, sent over a certificate of completion stating ALL WORK INSIDE and OUT was completed. STOP!, SOUTHERN ROOFING is attempting to collect on WORK, #1, THEY DIDN'T DO, #2. A AGREEMENT WAS NEVER SIGNED FOR THEM TO DO.. Yes these people tendered unto our Insurance: STATE FARM a certificate of Completion stating that they in fact did ALL the repairs inside and outside.That's listed on my Claim. THEY DID NOT. Another issue: On five different dates at different times, I showed up at the job site: Not one time did I SEE, SPEAK or SHAKE a supervisor hand at all. Nor did we SEE or Speak to one. In FACT: Not one person on our job site even spoke english. NOT ONE of the 9. Everyone of them spoke Spanish or another language all together. I don't know what it was. NOW WE ARE AT THE DISPUTE: State Farm cut's a check. I notify SOUTHERN ROOFING: I was NOT going to endorse the entire check over to them. Due to the fact, They only did repairs to the outside of the home. NOTHING on the inside of the home was touched. I then asked My self to look at the reviews. IT"S the practice of SOUTHERN ROOFING, not to give a estimate, They want your insurance money. 2. IT'S their practice to MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD AND MAKE YOU THINK they are going to APPLY YOUR MONEY in other areas of your job, WHICH is wrong. THEY MARK UP the cost of supplies and labor, TO CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY. HOW many people have just signed over YOUR INSURANCE CHECK to SOUTHERN ROOFING, not know the real numbers and the bottom line on repairs to your home or job, that they did. DID, They tell you, we're going to apply that extra cost to this? Did they do the entire work? Or did they just do half? AND LET ME GUESS: When the check arrived with both names on it. YOURS as the policy holder, THEIRS: SOUTHERN ROOFING cause they filed a letter with your agent appointing them as your selected contractor. YOU not knowing any better or LISTENING TO: JAMES SHAHEEN or AARON GRIGSBY, or another member from SOUTHERN ROOFING, you just endorsed the entire insurance check over? DID THEY DO THE WORK? IF SOUTHERN ROOFING, in fact DID NOT DO ALL the work, they should not be getting ALL THE MONEY. CAN WE SAY FRAUD! second word of the day is ARREST WARRANT! IF you have been one of many people that has hired: SOUTHERN ROOFING to repair your home, under your insurance policy of your homeowners insurance. CONTACT your insurance carrier: and STATE: YOU HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO FRAUD! MISAPPROPRIATIONS of FUNDS, THEFT BY DECEPTION. I have a listed of CRIMINAL STATUES THAT WILL APPLY. I have stated to our insurance adjuster: I will only agree and release payment for what work that was done. WHY should we pay and release over $4,000.00 to a firm that did not do all the work. We never got a estimate prior to work been started, don't make the mistake we did. #2, Watch their hands, and Don't fall for the misleading lies. I happened to be out with my fiance celebrating my birthday at one of my favorite restaurants. I mentioned how I was trying to get my house ready to put on the market in the next year or two. Adam began to share what he did for a living and he offered to come check my roof the very next day. He was a man of integrity, because he came to check my roof the very next day as he stated and indeed I needed a new roof. My roof was seventeen years old and I had never had it checked before until I met Adam. He then told me my options in obtaining a new roof. Adam walked me through each and every step of the process. I will always refer people to Adam because he cares about helping people. Adam made this process as painless as possible. He spoke with the insurance agents to file the claim and he even covered my belongings in the attic with plastic to keep the dust from settling on my stored items. Besides being so very personable, Adam was physically there to make sure that the roof was installed in a timely fashion. To keep me updated, he sent me pictures to see the progress for myself while I was at work. I truly appreciated working with Adam because he was easy to talk to and very professional. Again, I will refer him to any and everyone that asks about a reputable person/company. Adam will get my vote every time! read more

I just had a new roof put on by Southern RNR and they did a fantastic job. Kyle Williams helped work my insurance claim and even met with the insurance adjuster to ensure that everything went smooth. The crew showed up on time and were very professional. They even swept my yard three or four times with a magnet device to ensure there were no loose nails left behind. They did a great job with cleanup as well. Highly recommend you reach out to Southern RNR even if it is to get an estimate. Kyle was highly engaged through the entire process coming by several times during my two day install to check to make sure things went OK. They even have a quality assurance guy do a final inspection and when he came by he sent a crew member back to do some additional cleanup. Our roof had several spots that was leaking, but the main place was our den. It looked liked it was going to cave in. Found Southern Roofing on my phone and called them. In just a couple of days a guy named John Johnson came by, talked with us, gave all the details we needed. John was very professional and polite. In about a week or two he had men on the roof. Finished in two days! Just in time for that last storm we had just a day before it came. YES! We were Dry and smiling. Want a job done right, call Southern Roofing to get get a job done right. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, my rep, Anthony Pitts, handled all steps of the process for me. He was early for each appointment, kept me up to speed throughout, answered when I called, and handled all interactions with insurance, which I really didn't have the time or patience to deal with. He even came out and personally rolled my yard with a magnetic wheel to ensure that neither my pup nor myself wound up with a nails in our paws. Roof looks great. Leaks are gone. As I was running in panic to get a neighbor, John and Randy of Southern Roofing & Renovations were passing on their way home. They stopped to see if they could help, regardless of what they emergency was, and saw a collapsed ceiling with water running from the attic water heater.
