These ladies are fun! Great place to relax and converse, and right next to Barry's Bagels so you can make some deluxe me-time or a friends day out of it! So many colors to choose from - primarily OPI, but also China Glaze, Taylor Morgan, . It's well ventilated in here, never any of that old nail salon scent, very clean, comfortable massage chairs (new this year!), good music. We come for the pedicures, which were $55 at the time of this writing. We come in with three people and they never have trouble finding space for us all at once in their schedule. read more

I had been to Lisa's for both a manicure and pedicure. Though it was probably a year ago, I remember that they operated as a team. While my toes were being done, another person was taking care of my fingernails. It was a fabulous, efficient experience and the only reason I haven't been back more recently is that there is a nail salon closer to where I live that I generally go to. Unfortunately, my usual salon had a family funeral that made them unavailable and which is what led me to Lisa's. I remember that Lisa was very friendly, upbeat and that I had a wonderful experience. The salon itself had a very relaxed yet energetic vibe that made me feel very comfortable. Now that my regular place is unavailable once again, I am wanting to revisit Lisa's Manicure & Pedicure even though it's a bit more of a drive from where I live. Wish the salon had an online booking option. However, I'll call in the morning and keep my fingers and toes crossed! Being that nothings open here in Michigan at the moment, I was dying for a pedicure and a short road trip since being stuck at home for the past two months. I spent an enormous amount of time, maybe too much, finding a nice nail salon in Toledo, Ohio. While the price points were all at least $10 to $15 more than what I pay in Michigan, I was surprised at that. I guess it is what it is. I found Lisa's nail salon and chose them for a variety of different reasons. While not the cheapest option, I found it to be the best one out there. The gal who helped me over the phone answered all my questions and told me that their pedicures are $45. (I normally pay $28-$30 here in Michigan.) She also told me that if I get a manicure with it, its a bundle deal of $70. SOLD! I made the appointment for 2 PM and off I went. When I made the appointment, I was told that I had to wear a face mask during my pedi and mani. I arrived with my face mask on and Tori did all my work. She was fabulous and easy to talk to. She did a wonderful job on both my hands and feet. I got a nice leg scrub, polish and lotion and the whole thing took about 40 minutes. My only complaint? While I entirely loved my experience here, they didn't have the foamy toe seperators that I normally get at pedicures. It was paper towel or something. Is there a shortage or something? I am not sure why that was. Did it mess anything up? No. I just thought it was weird? I normally don't get manicures, but I was happy with the nail shaping, cleaning of my hands and overall experience. I am really glad I chose this place because it was extremely relaxing, fun and Tori my nail tech really hit it off. Please check this place out. Lots of people are coming down from Michigan to get stuff done and there's no shortage of places to go. I found this place the easiest to deal with, reach and offer legit services. Went while visiting in Toledo. Ms. Lisa & Shelli are some of the nicest and most welcoming women I've ever met. First, Ms. Lisa scheduled a same day appointment, during covid, for me and my gent. When we walked in, it was like walking into your aunt's house, just a great vibe and energy in the space. Ms. Lisa directed us kindly in and had already prepared for our arrival. The salon felt safe and had all the dividers and protection in place to help keep everyone safe! I'm not sure if this is a unique to this time or not, but they even used new nail files and tools on us, which is such a great hygienic thing some techs do! Also, huge thank you to Shelli who kneeled on the ground to fix the toe nail polish I smudged, such a great person. Besides the amazing pedicure & manicure we received; we also made new friends! Pedi itself was well done and the people friendly, but not worth 50, especially for regular polish and a basic scrub. They only have regular polish or gel, no dip/sns. Their prices aren't listed online and they bumped up the price of the pedi from the 40 they said on the phone to 50 when I went in. 50 for a pedi is more than in most big cities like Chicago, and I'd expect a gorgeous spa experience. We weren't offered a drink (not even water) and the spa itself wasn't well-maintained (tattered seats and peeling paint). They only take cash or check, which is also annoying. read more

Lisa and her team are always so welcoming! They took every precaution during the pandemic to keep customers healthy, plus their deep massage chairs are awesome. Very friendly and courteous staff, pretty decent color selection, and my nails look good. However, the sign at the entrance stated $38 for a gel manicure and $38 for a pedicure (which is already overpriced compared to a number of other places I've been). Somehow at the end of my service that turned into $90 without tip. I certainly hope these last a while because I could have gotten them done almost twice for this price. Lisa's is a tucked away in a plaza I had been in many times but never noticed it was there. We called last minute for pedicures and got in which was very accommodating. The manicure I received was average - nothing special - in fact the nail polish looked a bit messy. Also the nail tech barely scrubbed my heels so I left with the same scaled heels I entered with. Lisa the owner was very friendly and welcoming. And my biggest disappointment: THEY DO NOT TAKES CREDIT CARDS. ONLY CASH OR CHECK. Luckily my friend had a checkbook. I can see that this would be a good place to have regular manicures and pedicures, but I was there for a deluxe pedicure and my gal didn't know what to do. She was instructed along the way by her co-worker. There was nothing relaxing about the experience and it was costly. The masque was applied roughly and then immediately rinsed off (it was supposed to remain). The hot towels were in short supply so they were rinsed under the tap and weren't really hot.
