Upscale options and tremendous variety abound! But when you're not visiting just to gawk, and you're genuinely attempting to assemble components for your soon-to-be refurbished home bathrooms, you begin to see the shortcomings of Ferguson. Despite numerous employees, forget anyone helping you because you'll soon discover that all the other customers have "made a reservation." Okay, that's an easy issue to solve in the future. Without a "reservation" we were encouraged to scan QR codes for each display to determine available finishes, prices, and measurements. But not even the most modern phones could scan the world's tiniest QR codes throughout the store. The lighting is odd within the store, so significant that you cannot clearly determine whether the color or finish you're considering would look appropriate in your bathroom at home. All of their competitor's stores are sufficiently lit. As we looked for a top to our bathroom vanity, we learned Ferguson doesn't sell vanity tops. They only sell the entire vanity. We have seven-foot-long bathroom vanities in all of our bathrooms like everyone else in our neighborhood does. It's not unusual. However, Ferguson's vanities apparently max out at six feet, so this was obviously no use to us. And don't even get us started on how convoluted the Ferguson website is! We ended up designing our two remodeled bathrooms at a different store.

Wannakee was very patient with me, and allowed me to take home as many samples as I wanted. I found the prices to be reasonable and the selection great. They will help you with deciding how much to order based upon square footage. Note, since the tile is ordered, if you end up with too much, you're stuck with it. The overage cannot be returned, as it can with stores that carry tile in stock. The showroom is beautiful with good ideas to think about. They also have kitchen / bathroom faucets, sinks, granite, marble, and other home renovation products.

My assumption is they don't need the business. I can see how they have a good review from a designer as they were giving that individual quite a bit of attention. She was so friendly and helpful. She found exactly what I was looking for and walked me through the process. The showroom is great!! This was my first trip to this company and I was immediately impressed with the layout, and variety of sinks, toilets, bathtubs - just everything you need to remodel a bathroom or kitchen. I'll definitely be back! Thanks also to the fabulous folks in the warehouse who waiting on me quickly and carried the sink to my car. Very polite. This could not have been a better experience!

They have a huge assortment of light fixtures for every price range. I've been in here before for lighting for my house and for my investment property. Most recently I was looking for 3 semi-flush light fixtures for my hallway. Daniel was the person helping me this time and he was excellent and helped me make a quick decision. I'm not one to dawdle over things. A week later and I'm still very pleased with my purchases. The best part of Hermitage Lighting Gallery is that they have almost every fixture in stock and you don't have to wait! They also have everything you can think of for your house. From light fixtures to choice furnishings to toilets and appliances. Speaking of toilets, you have got to use the restroom while there. The toilet in there is high tech, I will not ruin the surprise. Unfortunately the quality of the items just weren't up to the standard of something I would want in my house I was living in, so I didn't end up buying anything. We ran into some unexpected complications with the install of our counters and backsplash yet,…read moredespite it all, we felt like we were in good hands. The first complication was due to weather. We just happened to have our install scheduled for the week that once in a decade snowfall came. Needless to say, this required some flexibility to see what dates would work to re-schedule us. Monica made sure, though, that we are always kept in the loop and that the project would go ahead with minimal disruption. The second complication was due to a computer glitch that caused the wrong backsplash pattern to get assigned to our project. Unfortunately this was only discovered after it had been completely installed. My wife and I felt so bad that all that material and labor was wasted but Brett, the owner, was more concerned that we got what we wanted so he did what was needed to make things right. We are now very pleased with how everything turned out. This didn't play out as we expected but we have a fun story to tell and a great kitchen to tell it to our friends in =D To sum it all up, not that we wished for these wrinkles but they did show us how the company would respond when things were less than ideal and I can say wholeheartedly that they do put the customer first and will make sure you are left very satisfied with the end product. A special shout out as well to Kevin who brought the showroom to us, enthusiastically answered all our questions, and did a great job selling us on his company without being too pushy. Bonus points for the great suggestions on what options would work best with the kitchen.

They receive shipments daily and seem to carry a little bit of everything. The toy selection is pretty neat if you aren't looking for pretty packaging. There are nice strollers, clothes, electronics, appliances, rugs, etc.... I think the pricing is pretty fantastic. Like any kind of bargain establishment, you have to be willing to dig a little and you have to stick with it if there is a particular item you are shopping for. I love little known treasures that offer value and Essex definitely meets that criteria if you fancy yourself a bargain hunter.
