Do not frequent this establishment unless you wish to support a toxic and misogynistic work environment with specific regards to Jerry the Service Manager and Patrick the General Manager. To name a few incidents: It is common knowledge amongst staff that Jerry sexually assaulted and harassed a former staff member who was conveniently fired after the incident. Jerry made several comments wondering if said staff member "had an OnlyFans" at work. The police even came to Harley Davidson to interrogate staff about what happened in regards to said sexual assault; one customer who is a cop asked if Jerry had a good attorney. Patrick made numerous comments about a current staff member when she was hired stating, "Finally, we have an attractive employee in motorclothes." Jerry and Patrick laughed at security footage of their staff wrecking their motorcycle in the parking lot during the ice and mocking their for riding into and leaving work on their motorcycle. Jerry left a note on another employee's desk calling them a useless c*nt and several employees gathered around laughing about it. Southern Thunder Harley Davidson is my "go to" Harley Dealer in the Memphis area. They are hands down, in my opinion, the best dealer in the area. The Staff is awesome - very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help you in any way they can. The Facilities are the best I have ever visited - large, spacious, brightly lit, lots of windows, large amount of floor space, two nice lounges, pool table, great inventory of bikes and MotorClothes, and clean restrooms. The Service is fantastic - they are fast, thorough, reasonably priced, very willing to talk to you about your repairs or alterations that are needed or desired, and my bike is always washed and shined when they return it to me. And weather permitting, there is usually always some kind of event going on outside - a live band, bike show, stunt performers, food vendors, etc. It's just a cool, family friendly, and fun place for Harley Davidson enthusiasts and riders to hang out, buy something "Harley", chat, get a bite to eat, and enjoy a few hours. Remarkable clean large store, (you can eat from the floor we say in Belgium). The workshop where repairs are being done, is done with great care just perfectly Everything shines, sparkles, you really need sunglasses! Great experience as a tourist. We saw the water tower from afar, then the store popped up, wow stop here (we say it together)! Very friendly staff. We were very welcome. Great service! Just got off the phone with parts, had what I needed in stock and sent it right out to me. I live outside Jackson, Ms and the local dealer didn't have what I needed and said it would be a week to 10 days to get it. On a related note my brother and I took an overnight ride to Memphis a couple of years ago and the shifter on his 2014 Street Glide broke. We got to the motel kind of late and called the service department at Southern Thunder and talked to a young lady. She said be there the next morning and she would get his bike right in the shop since we were out of town. I was working in the service department of a car dealer at the time and thought that was BS, that we would be there all day. We got there the next morning and she got him right in, a couple of hours later we were on the road! They even washed his bike! I wish I could remember the lady's name that helped us. My husband and I are on vacation from Houston, TX. We were caught in heavy rain in Florida and changed our holiday plans and found ourselves in Memphis. Our bikes were filthy and we took them to Southern Harley-Davidson to be washed. They did a tremendous job! We thought our dealership in Beaumont was tops, but this one takes the cake! Not only is the inventory exceptional, but walking into the dealership we immediately felt welcome. Employees (including Hot Sauce, Shena, and Rose), were friendly and asked all questions we had while we did some shopping. I absolutely love coming to the Southern Thunder shop for events! The space is huge and always so pristine and organized and well layed out. I have been to multiple events and have always been greeted with a smile and treated like family, especially by Aubrey DePew. She is an awesome event coordinator and you can tell how much pride she takes in her work by the great turn out of folks and how much fun everyone always has. While visiting Memphis for a short vacation, I was involved in a traffic mishap (that is, non-injury). Nevertheless, my bike couldn't be ridden. I had Southern Thunder haul it to the dealership. From the moment I stepped in the shop, I was treated like an old friend who needed help. Although HD seemingly took forever to get the parts shipped, once they arrived, my bike was repaired as promised. The day I picked the bike up, I had a 4 hr. ride to get home. The staff here is awesome! Very friendly and helpful. I just wen in the store to purchase souvenirs and met a young man who is an awesome sales rep as well as a people person. Morio showed my sister and I the bikes we were interested in, went over the specs of the bikes and let us sit on them to get a feel for the bikes. He also advised us that even though we live in DE, we can order from this location and have the bike shipped to us!!! This review is a little late, but I had to write about my visit to this dealership. This dealership was visited during vacation to Memphis, TN. The entire staff treated us very nicely. Even though I only bought some T-shirts and some other trinkets, we were given a tour of the facility by Joyce. Wow! What a place. I was in heaven.
