The big issues we had and HAVE had with Holly Hill is the management. My husband and I and our roommate decided to move out before our lease was up but continue to pay our rent until the lease was done due to non-related circumstances. Us moving out had nothing to do with the condition of the apartment or complex. but when I tried to contact the land lady named *Gaby* I was never able to get ahold of her. I called the office multiple times and the receptionist always told me she would call me back or email me and it took about 1 1/2 months for her to eventually respond to an email. NOT OKAY. Once we moved out and the lease had finished we got a statement in the mail saying we failed to pay our last months rent and wouldn't receive our security deposit back. Around $670. But we had paid our last months rent and sent them bank statements showing them proof. I asked how could they have misplaced our checks and the manager *crystal* said either I didn't pay or they had lost our checks or charged them to another tenants account. Not sure which one it was but we had paid. After we emailed them our bank statements I received a check in the mail, but it wasn't the full amount we were supposed to be refunded, so I emailed the manager saying money was still being withheld from us and that i needed to have answers. 2 1/2 weeks later (today) I email crystal again and said I needed an answer by the end of the week as to where our money was and she replies saying they had shipped us a check and that it should have been delivered. I walked outside and found a failed delivery receipt outside in a bush saying they had attempted to delivery the letter but no one was home to sign for it. If the manager had told us they sent the check and that it needed to be signed, we would have planned to be home at that time. But no, everything with the management of these apartments is complicated, sketchy and unreliable. The apartments are fine but the experience we have had with the management has been through the roof terrible. not worth the apartments.

Was harassed, threatened, bullied by neighbor till I had no option but to move. Cohen Esrey is the…read moreworst management company I have ever dealt with in my 58 yrs. All of government-federal funding to rescue this place and in less than 6 yrs it has turned into a dump. Look at photos of what it was when first opened and photos of Big Chair Loft while I lived there. Hopefully Thomasville will realize that Cohen Esrey has no place in there small town.

Letting the animals do their business wherever they please outside and in the building. Management is just horrible nothing gets fixed been waiting for my dishwasher to be looked at for almost a year and nothing had to hunt the office workers down for a parking pass after they towed my car bc shes never at work or in the office. Also shown a lot of favoritis. when it comes to rules of the building telling everyone they can't smoke in the building especially marijuana. But got a whole Cop living in the building that smokes weed and friends with all the people thats selling the weed. Its ok for them to do it tho and yes the office workers know and turn a blind eye to it. doors are never locked anyone can just walk in from off the street. And so much more but like I said if your looking for a home place to stay this is not it .

Had a sewer bill that was so high that know one wanted to do anything about in the 2 1/2 years i paid over 2000 for just the sewer so i had to save so i could finally move and now they are trying to say i still over a 900 bill because they had the meter checked and there was no problem REALLY i dont even know anyone with a sewer bill over 40 a month and mine was 125 plus . This is the worse place to live .!
