Great food nice people…read more The meat was very good but VERY VERY expensive. Also their sandwiches are very good but very small. $16.95 got me a pulled pork but it was served on a Martin's Potato Roll, which while tasty is tiny. They're not even using the "Martin's BIG Potato Rolls" just the small regular ones. The sandwiches come with chips for free or fries for an upcharge -- But the chips are homemade and frankly way better than the fries! That said again it was good but for the price the sandwiches should be much bigger. They were dog friendly and very nice which we loved. We will be back soon!

The steak sandwich was yummy, thinly sliced cuts beef, gooey cheese and well seasoned. The sandwich would been better on roll or crusty bread over a hamburger bun though. House-made potato chips were my favorite, well seasoned and cooked just to crispy, other places tend to burn chips but here just right. The filet taco, was very small, mostly a just two bites. It's meat filling was alright, tiny diced but filled the space. The taco sauce though was fire, very savory and well seasoned, almost wish the meat was cooked on the sauce rather than salt and pepper it. Have to come back and buy some of the raw stuff for home, since a very wide selection of cuts is here I can't get at supermarket for sure

They get 5 stars for the quality of the meat, the customer Service and the knowledge. Since I got…read moremy Traeger few yrs ago, I have been looking for a place to get quality meat whether it's beef, pork, lamb or poultry. Steve who was working Friday night provided answers to every question I had including on recreating the porchetta my in-laws would do every Thanksgiving. I needed to find a butcher who could get me a fresh ham, remove the bone, and remove the fat cap but keep it in tact so I could wrap the pork back in it after seasoning. He said they could do it all but also discussed options if I wanted to do a 6 lb porchetta vs a 20+ pounder. He even gave me a history lesson on the Boston pork butt. I then started with questions on beef short plate ribs and rib roasts and chuck eye. Well after talking about marbling on the long short ribs in the case (not the Littles usually in super markets) I bought two for dinner on Saturday. I smoked them for about 6 hours. They were so tender and delicious. By far much cheaper than most BBQ places that charge $50 per rib. My friend, John, who shops there often picked up a a pot roast for saturday dinner. He said it was like butter. So if you get a chance stop in and pick up some meat or house made hot dogs or sweet and hot italian sausage.

I stopped by during my travels looking for a sandwich and just loved the whole set up of the place…read more There is a butcher area for all kinds of meats, all looked fresh and of great quality. Customers were coming in to pick up their meat orders. The deli area offers a variety of cold and hot sandwiches, salads, sides. Great selection. I ordered a roast beef and Swiss on a hard roll, with coleslaw and horseradish sauce. It was fantastic! The meat was flavorful and plentiful and that homemade slaw added a great little kick. They also have baked breads and goodies. I left with a sourdough bread and a choc chip cookie. There are some tables outside to eat. They also sell unwashed, unrefrigerated chicken eggs from a local farm. So great! I did buy these, but somehow they didn't make it into my bag which I did not discover until I got home, but other than that, service was super friendly and helpful. So refreshing to have quality customer service. The store is well organized, nicely decorated, and extremely clean. I recommend a stop in and I will make a point to return as soon as possible.

Superb pork store at the top of Broad Street in Little Poland. We love all of the Polish…read moredelicatessens on Broad Street; each has a specialty niche - this one's is the meat counter. The quality is superb (no doubt abetted by the fact that the store is almost always busy - everything's fresh.) The meat display is literally forty feet long. The selection is astounding. We're still discovering new things. And for all of this excellence, the cost is very reasonable. Excellent smoked Bratwurst cost $3.99 a pound on a recent visit. Lean hickory smoked bacon (de luxe, this is what Peter Luger's in Brooklyn NY serves for the thick bacon appetizer) was $4.99. Lean, pink Black Forest Ham was only $7.99 - this stuff put "Honey Baked Ham" to shame and is cheap enough to get a pound for sandwiches and then a pound sliced 1/4" for breakfast plates (or scalloped potatoes). Beside charcuterie, I buy coarsely ground fresh pork here, to make sausage patties with (and for meat sauce). There is a refrigerator full of pierogies of all kind. Refrigerated cases contain specialty European dairy products, herring, and frozen items. There's a bakery cabinet featuring superb high quality Euro-style breads and rolls - and Polish paczi (sp?) As in all serious food markets, they offer a great variety of spices, seeds and other dry goods for the kitchen. There's a huge selection of seasoning amalgams and sauce mixes, too. There's a great selection of pickles in jars, including some rather exotic pickled combinations. Candy and cookies fill fully two aisles of the spacious store. Go here because my words and pictures cannot suffice to describe the experience. Go on a weekday to avoid crowds - it's that popular! Did I mention it was a superb value?! So go here, even if you don't like Polish food.
