    New countertops!

Yasin and his team of professionals went above and beyond to replace our kitchen countertops during a critical time. We purchased a stove from Lowe's and their installer damaged our countertop right before Thanksgiving. The owner quickly rescued our Thanksgiving by helping us select a countertop that we immediately fell in love with then had it installed within the same week! They came out on a Sunday. The installation team was very professional and experienced and we are extremely pleased.

Amazing, high quality work at an unbelievable price! We had them replace our granite countertops with quartz and also bought a sink from them. My first step was to request quotes from lots of different companies. They gave us the best initial price. I then visited the shop to look at samples and chose a quartz called soapstone, which is a dark grey with nice white veining. Their store isn't the fanciest or biggest of stores, but a pleasant experience. Then Yasin came out to take measurements. He noticed imperfections in our existing countertop that I've never noticed. After placing the order, they were super flexible with install date and even were willing to come on a weekend. We ended up doing the work on a Sunday. Two strong guys arrived and this was when I really noticed the difference. First of all, they were super careful with moving everything. Then they brought the first slab in - they replaced what used to be 2 pieces along the long sink counter turning around in an L shape to butt up to the stove with a SINGLE HUGE L-shaped slab!! I am experienced enough to know that few places would do this. It's extremely risky to manufacture and install such a single piece, but they did it which gives a HUGE wow factor with the long veins running down the entire length and around the corner. Second, they used equipment i haven't seen used before to join and perfect the seams. These guys really are perfectionists. Thirdly, for the one place they had to make a seam, they perfectly lined up the one vein that dead-ended on the cut edge so it all looks continuous and spent a fair bit of time sanding the glue to make sure that it's seamless to the touch. I can't say enough wonderful things about their work. We are going to hire them to redo our kitchen in our other house.

Custom double sink vanity by SP. Very happy with the result!

I was concerned about some of the dimensions when the drawing came back and emailed to ask about them. Nicole responded almost instantly and had the drafter check his drawing. He didn't have any concerns, so JJ came back out and measured with me with a tape measure. I'd misunderstood some details of the drawing, but JJ wasn't impatient or angry. He insisted that it was much better to double check if I had a concern. The installation team came out a week later with our BEAUTIFUL Brazilian soapstone countertops. They encountered a problem, though. Our cabinets weren't level. At all. They attempted to shim the countertops, but the gap was going to be too big. JJ came out and looked it over and offered to take the countertops back to the shop or store them at my house while we leveled the cabinets. I called him the next day to tell him that the cabinets were level now and they came out on a Saturday and installed the countertops. Even with us being kind of a problem customer (not rude, just had installation issues), the entire team was kind and accommodating. At first I thought JJ was the measurement guy. He was unassuming, kind to explain, and patient. Turns out he owns the company! Talk about setting an example.

The drain plumbing was detached from the countertops when they removed the old counter, so they must have stepped on it or otherwise hit it. They did not tell me that they broke the pipe while they were here and I am now having to pay my plumber 2.5 times the amount I should have had to pay to get the plumbing back in order.

BUYER BEWARE -- A RESOUNDING THEME! Granite we had installed…read morein our basement bar area merely separated on the slab seam due to a faulty epoxy mix as did our outdoor bar area - common theme? The granite has separated and they NEVER came back to repair their own work! Since we didn't use the basement bar, but maybe twice a year, not a big deal. The repair for the basement bar has been requested since February 2016, requested again in June 2016, and about every 3-4 months since then! Growing rather TIRED of trying to get the repair complete since 2016, I made concerted effort to contact the owner, Patricia, at least a dozen times since July 2021 telephonically, text, and email. Messages left with staff NEVERgot back to Patricia or she was ignoring me. Every time you call about an issue, it appears to be forgotten by her or her staff. I finally had to stop in the showroom and found her there about a week ago. Patricia informed me that her staff had given me a message when they hadn't. I asked her if she wanted to check the phone record. Once again, I had to tell her what my issue was and she said she would take care of it. She stated she no longer does the installs, she subcontracts the install work. Our entire home has granite purchased from Elite from the time they first began growing their business. She has received at least 12 kitchen or bathroom installs from referrals given to her from my wife's business. When we began our relationship in 2008, she and her then husband stated, "If you ever have an issue, just contact us and we will take care of it!" Because they were new growing their business, we were understanding. However, it is no different today. ALWAYS an excuse for not getting a job done! I'm "out of office", "Can I reschedule?", "Not enough fabricators", "Not enough installers", "Forgot your appointment", "My car had to get repaired", etc. It's like a teacher asking the student where his/her homework is and the kid replies "my dog ate it"! Calling within less than an hour prior to the job to inform you they are not coming that day! They ask for measurements and pics and end up losing them! Completely UNACCEPTABLE! After calling her installer, she calls me back and states there will be a charge of $125. I guess this is what she considers "taking care of it"! I stated, "I am not paying for a faulty install repair". Patricia does not want to be responsible, she lacks attention to detail, she lacks business honesty and integrity, and does not understand how to run her business and take care of her customers I guess we'll have to get someone else to repair the work and job Patricia should have completed. Even though she may have a decent price, that is not all you need to know and have concerns about! Just know that if you decide to purchase, it most likely won't be satisfactory and you will spend an inordinate amount of time and other resources to get it correct!

Great work at very reasonable price. When comparison shopping I found…read moreElite to be in lower than other quotes. 2 things to keep in mind if you're getting new countertops... First, no other countertop place (I contacted 3 others) also did the backsplash tile work. They all referred me to a tile place/guy and I really preferred to only have to deal with 1 company. Second, no other installer would touch the sink. I either had to remove/re-install myself (I opted to keep my current porcelain sink) or call a plumber. But expense was included in Elite's quote (which would have cost me about another $500-600 for 2 plumber's visits). We did have minor SNAFU with the backsplash - the delivered tile was wrong, and I did not catch it until nearly half the job was done. But a phone call and a photo to Elite (Patricia) and they made it right with minimal hassle by removing what what put up, re-ordering and completing the job the following week. We had no problems with punctuality as other complained about in the Google Reviews. I'd definitely use them again and recommend them.
