If you are looking for a fabricator who actually takes pride in their work, he's your guy. Rylee is an outstanding fabricator. Calling his welds "good" would be an understatement--they are honestly like artwork. The precision and cleanliness of his beads show a level of skill that you just don't see very often anymore. It's clear he's a master of his craft. One of the best parts of the service was the convenience. Rylee is fully mobile and came right to my house, which saved me the massive headache of hauling my boat across town. He was professional and stayed in touch throughout the scheduling process. He arrived exactly when he said he would for the appointment! His prices are extremely fair, especially considering the high-tier quality of work and the convenience of mobile service. He is not a Mercury outboard guy if you ask him but one of my projects was a triple Mercury offshore boat with the "Offshore" engines(2 cycle). 3 OF THEM!!! Mercury Racing couldn't figure out the chronic issues I had with brand new factory engines but good AL DID!!! He doesn't claim to know Mercs but he KNOWS 2 cycle outboards as well as the newer 4 strokes. He knows Mercs but don't say I told you! The ridiculous negative review I see is from a guy who had his wife write it. They ran low octane fuel and most likely didn't mix it at 50/1. If they used any oil at all! It's not something you "eyeball". Guess what! No oil or a lean mixture will OVERHEAT A 2 cycle engine AND lose power as this reviewer wrote. Just before you melt it. Aluminum melts at below 1220 deg. F if my memory serves me right. Um... That will a very likely cause a fire under the cowling. A cowling will melt from the powerhead or something else within the cowling becoming very hot. There is no spontaneous combustion happening. A common cause is there being a "pinch point" on a water outlet hose combined with the engine being run without an overheat buzzer. Well... Generally 1+1=2. Al is the BEST!!!

Al was and is the only specialist I've used from Marina Del Rey to Havasu. Al built my best buddy a V6 which was run hard! 6-7K RPM all day long and bulletproof for 39 years!!!!!!! 39 years on that 235 V6. His quality is second to none. It's like having a NASA engineer from M.I.T. work on your engine(s). A lost art. He's proud of his work and NEVER gives attitude as mechanics do. Quality/Super nice guy/backs up his work 100%. I can't say enough great things about Anything Off-Road in Lake Havasu, Arizona, and especially Damon, who went above and beyond in a situation where another shop completely failed and left me stranded. I was visiting the area in March 2025 when my Jeep's rear differential blew up--a major issue when you're 1,500 miles from home. I initially trusted Bill Powell at Get it in Gear to repair the axle, which turned out to be a huge mistake! After making me pay the invoice, Bill casually mentioned they just needed to clear a check engine light--except that was a lie. The rear axle was locked up, making the Jeep undriveable on the street. Bill's attitude throughout the process was terrible--not just toward me but also toward his own employees and other customers. Worst of all, when his "repair" failed, he refused to take responsibility, blamed everything else, and left me stranded. This is where Damon and the team at Anything Off-Road saved the day. Within 10 minutes of calling, Damon personally arrived with a trailer and loaded up my Jeep. I asked him to tear into the axle and find the real problem--and he wasted no time. Sure enough, he discovered that Bill at Get it in Gear had assembled the locker incorrectly, causing the locker to be on 100% of the time. Damon even documented everything with photos, showing me exactly what was wrong. To fix it properly, the entire differential had to come apart again, requiring yet another new set of expensive bearings. Throughout the entire process, Damon kept me updated, communicated clearly, and went the extra mile--even performing some additional preventative maintenance while he was under the Jeep. His professionalism, skill, and dedication to doing things the right way were everything that the previous shop lacked. My biggest regret? Not going to Anything Off-Road in the first place! If you need off-road work done in Lake Havasu, don't make the same mistake I did. Skip the hassle and go straight to Anything Off-Road. Their customer service, expertise, and integrity are second to none. They don't just fix problems--they take care of their customers. Highly, highly recommended!
