My experience with Moorhead Dental Associates has been nothing short of a nightmare. I recently had…read morea dental crown procedure that has left me deeply dissatisfied and frustrated. To provide some context, I initially sought their services because a crown they had previously placed on one of my teeth unexpectedly fell out. I went to the clinic hoping for a solution, but what I received was a string of missteps and an alarming lack of accountability. First, they informed me that the original crown could not be reattached because it supposedly no longer fit, even though it had been their work in the first place. They recommended purchasing a new temporary crown and it should last for some time to ensure it would fit before committing to a permanent one. Fine, I thought, as they admitted not knowing why the original crown didn't fit. But here's where it all unraveled. After forking over approximately $400 for the temporary crown, it lasted an astonishingly brief 1.5 months before it fell out. The response from Moorhead Dental Associates? A hasty reattachment using cement. No explanation, no accountability. Fast forward to the end of June, and the temporary crown fell out yet again. At this point, they informed me that I needed a permanent crown instead of the temporary one. A permanent crown, priced at a staggering $2500. I protested, rightfully so, as this entire ordeal had been marked by their poor recommendations. If I know this was what will happen I would asked to go with the permanent solution right away and not spend the extra $400. Also I am in no way ensured the permanent solution would work as the temporary one fell out so quickly. At this point, I already lost trust in this clinic. Their next move? More cement to glue the tooth back in place, followed by the crown falling out after a mere month. Rinse and repeat - I returned once more, and this time, the crown fell out after a paltry two weeks. By this point, I had endured multiple procedures, wasted hours, experienced pain and discomfort, and spent hundreds of dollars. When I ask for a refund, their response was shockingly dismissive. "It's supposed to be temporary, it's not broken, it just fell out" they said. In summary, Moorhead Dental Associates has demonstrated a lack of professionalism, an alarming absence of accountability, and a willingness to profit at the expense of their patients' well-being. Although my family has gone here for years, my trust in their expertise and integrity has been shattered, and I will not be returning as a patient. Please, save yourself the trouble, time, and money by seeking dental care elsewhere.
