TERRIBLE experience here. This will be a long review but it will definitely paint a picture of a…read morereally big hassle that could have been avoided if I were dealing with professionals!!! Bob and Jim picked up a Harley from my mom that only had 800 miles on it but had been stored in a shed for 8 years. The plan was for them to change all fluids, battery, tires and essentially get the bike ready for a ride from NM to CA. They picked up the bike almost 3 weeks before I was flying there and Bob promised to have the bike done 2 days before I arrived just to ensure Jim kept on schedule. This way I had a few days for some short rides to get used to the bike. Well that didn't happen. When I got to El Paso I hadn't heard from them so I gave them a call to find out that they hadn't even touched the bike yet and even worse hadn't obtained a battery yet. Apparently they didn't even know when a battery would show up and asked if I could pick one up in El Paso and deliver it to them which I did just to find out that O'Reilly Auto Parts a mile from their shop had one. The next day I received a call from Jim stating that the fuel pump was out, there was one at Barnett Las Cruces but he didn't have a way to get it so if I wanted my bike done before I left I would have to go pick it up. I didn't really have much choice since the plan was to ride it home 2 days later so I made the journey from Ruidoso to Las Cruces (4 hour round trip) then delivered it to Jim. 15 minutes later Jim called me and told me to turn around and come back. He showed me that the entire inside of the gas tank was destroyed from old gas and that the whole fuel pump assembly was corroded so the $260 part I picked up wasn't even going to work. A couple hours later Jim called me to tell me he couldn't find a used tank and that HD was going to charge me $1,400 for a new painted tank which I later found out from Harley San Jose was a complete lie that a new tank with fuel pump would be in the hundreds NOT $1,400. In that same phone call with Jim he told me I was already into $700 worth of repairs and he would graciously take the bike off my hands for $1,000 (remember at the beginning I told you the bike only had 800 miles so that engine alone is probably worth $3K). Basically the ride was off so I rented a truck and the only one available was back in El Paso on a Sunday at 11am which eventually cost me over $700 for the one way trip to San Jose. I made the trip to ELP and Bob was nice enough to meet me on Sunday to load the bike in the truck then he charged me $760 for services that all could have been avoided had they just checked the fuel tank first like any reputable motorcycle mechanic would have done. When we loaded the bike up I asked Bob where the saddle bags were? He told me it didn't have any which I thought was curious because I remembered my mom putting bags on it. While I was on the road I gave my mom a call who was actually in a U-Haul moving to NY. She told me there absolutely were saddle bags on the bike because not only is she and her husband handicapped but also didn't know how to take the seats off which is required to remove them. When I called back Bob refused to speak with me, Jim was upset said he didn't take them called me an Asshole then hung up on me. So in the end Bob & Jim of Liberty Cycles are not only cheats and liars but they are also thieves. Avoid this so called motorcycle shop at all costs and take your bike to El Paso or Las Cruces to avoid a bunch of headaches.

But they recommended to do some major service. I had only owned it for 9 hours! They recommended to change a belt because the unit will continue to creep forward when place in neutral. I went ahead and approved the service and asked them to save me the old belt. The old belt showed no wear or glazing. When I pointed that out they just shrugged their shoulders. I feel like they just wanted to build up a bill. I also store it in my garage and keep it nice and clean but when I got it back after 3 weeks it was dirty and had some damage on the rims. It seems like they don't care after your purchase. They wouldn't even help me to resell it if I wanted to in the future.

Mainly ATV's Great 3 wheelers some real nice vehicles. Not a lot of motorcycles on the floor since it is mainly an ATV dealer but what they had was very nice new and used. Had a beautiful used MV Augusta Brutale liter bike low miles very reasonable. Had I the cash I would have purchased it on the spot. A new brand CT I had never seen were really nice and great prices new. The buyer for the dealer has excellent taste in road bikes. All the staff I mean all the staff were super friendly and are all riders. I'm glad I came here.
