TERRIBLE experience here. This will be a long review but it will definitely paint a picture of a…read morereally big hassle that could have been avoided if I were dealing with professionals!!! Bob and Jim picked up a Harley from my mom that only had 800 miles on it but had been stored in a shed for 8 years. The plan was for them to change all fluids, battery, tires and essentially get the bike ready for a ride from NM to CA. They picked up the bike almost 3 weeks before I was flying there and Bob promised to have the bike done 2 days before I arrived just to ensure Jim kept on schedule. This way I had a few days for some short rides to get used to the bike. Well that didn't happen. When I got to El Paso I hadn't heard from them so I gave them a call to find out that they hadn't even touched the bike yet and even worse hadn't obtained a battery yet. Apparently they didn't even know when a battery would show up and asked if I could pick one up in El Paso and deliver it to them which I did just to find out that O'Reilly Auto Parts a mile from their shop had one. The next day I received a call from Jim stating that the fuel pump was out, there was one at Barnett Las Cruces but he didn't have a way to get it so if I wanted my bike done before I left I would have to go pick it up. I didn't really have much choice since the plan was to ride it home 2 days later so I made the journey from Ruidoso to Las Cruces (4 hour round trip) then delivered it to Jim. 15 minutes later Jim called me and told me to turn around and come back. He showed me that the entire inside of the gas tank was destroyed from old gas and that the whole fuel pump assembly was corroded so the $260 part I picked up wasn't even going to work. A couple hours later Jim called me to tell me he couldn't find a used tank and that HD was going to charge me $1,400 for a new painted tank which I later found out from Harley San Jose was a complete lie that a new tank with fuel pump would be in the hundreds NOT $1,400. In that same phone call with Jim he told me I was already into $700 worth of repairs and he would graciously take the bike off my hands for $1,000 (remember at the beginning I told you the bike only had 800 miles so that engine alone is probably worth $3K). Basically the ride was off so I rented a truck and the only one available was back in El Paso on a Sunday at 11am which eventually cost me over $700 for the one way trip to San Jose. I made the trip to ELP and Bob was nice enough to meet me on Sunday to load the bike in the truck then he charged me $760 for services that all could have been avoided had they just checked the fuel tank first like any reputable motorcycle mechanic would have done. When we loaded the bike up I asked Bob where the saddle bags were? He told me it didn't have any which I thought was curious because I remembered my mom putting bags on it. While I was on the road I gave my mom a call who was actually in a U-Haul moving to NY. She told me there absolutely were saddle bags on the bike because not only is she and her husband handicapped but also didn't know how to take the seats off which is required to remove them. When I called back Bob refused to speak with me, Jim was upset said he didn't take them called me an Asshole then hung up on me. So in the end Bob & Jim of Liberty Cycles are not only cheats and liars but they are also thieves. Avoid this so called motorcycle shop at all costs and take your bike to El Paso or Las Cruces to avoid a bunch of headaches.

I've bought 2 cars from the owner directly. And have had there knowledgeable team work on many of my vehicles. The owner has ever trailered my car to his shop ( on his own dime ) when I broke it. He will bend over backwards to help a customer, as he has for me. Countless times. My last 3s build, I spent $19,763.00 on my 91 VR-4 We did a forged bottom end, DRstg3 heads, turbos, trans and Xcase, fuel system, all supporting mods, and countless other things. The car has run perfectly for 4 years, and I drive the shit out of it. Never misses a beat. Many of my friends have also bought/built cars using DR, and couldn't be happier, but you can ask them. I look forward to having the DR team working on my 2013 Cadillac. The experience, service, quality, and products. Are unparalleled. Thanks dynamic, Shelby Hunt.

Every single job they've ever done for me was top notch -- their vast knowledge covers more then the platforms they specialize in. Every car they built was reliable and the work was great... the only items I ever had to replace were wear items such as clutches. In fact, my Supra had over 125,000 miles on it when I sold it.... all while running 10 second passes always without an issue. I no longer live in New Mexico but I still send most of my cars to Dynamic Racing because I know their work and the quality and detail they put into every job. They've always supported me anytime I needed something even when I didn't buy the part from them... if it was on a build they did and I added it later they still did their best to make it work 100% with the modifications they did. I can't recommend this place enough -- they are the best I've ever dealt with. Matt knows his stuff and he's a stand up guy.

I used them for a number of years until they did one screwup too many, and this one endangered my car's transmission, so that was it for them. The fact that I received no apology or remuneration didn't help. I returned to Southrock, and I wish I'd never left. These guys are great. They're open six days a week - Saturday until noon and closed Sunday, so it's easy for me to get oil changes. I've never had a problem or a significant delay getting a service done, it's usually been drive right up to the entrance and they take my car right away. I've had to wait at The Other Place for upwards of 3-4 hours for an oil change, I can't imagine how many hours I would have saved over the years if I'd continued coming here. Most recently they changed my headlight bulbs for the cost of the bulbs! These guys are, in my book, simply the best. Very professional, and I plan on using them if I ever need engine work. Sadly, I drive late model Subarus, and they don't need a lot of work done on them. But if they do, I'll bring 'em to Southrock. Definitely recommended.
