Dr Reif and the staff at Southwestern Chiropractic are all wonderful to work with. I have five children and have always been more inclined to try to do things as natural as possible, and when someone in my family gets sick or feels like they are in pain, we always make our first stop to Dr. Reif. Even before the pediatrician! He has helped my large family with so many issues from headaches and body aches to allergies and head colds. I work in an office on a computer all day so I tend to have an achy lower back and stiff shoulders/neck. I had previously seen a chiropractor in Allen a few years back but since moving to Wylie, I really wanted to find a local chiropractor that I could start seeing regularly. I found Southwestern Chiropractic online and after seeing positive reviews, I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Reif. As I walked in for my first appointment, I noticed the office/waiting room area was extremely clean and well organized. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful as well. Once I was called back, Dr. Reif allowed me to explain what pain I was experiencing and was very patient and attentive. He even took x-rays of my spine, showed them to me, and explained in detail why I was experiencing my current issues. I found this to be an awesome quality as my former chiropractor never took the time to tell me the "why's." He even informed me of what stretches to do and which ones to avoid to help control my pain in between appointments. This made me feel at ease as I knew I was in trusting hands with Dr. Reif. Afterwards, we went into another room for my adjustments and then to the back of the office for 10 minutes of relaxation with a tens unit. I immediately felt relief after leaving the office. I have now been regularly seeing Dr. Reif once a week (twice a week to start out) and have never felt better. I look forward to my appointment every week! I was very pleased with the care and compassion of Dr. Shad Reif and his entire staff. Dr. Reif cares about each one of his patients and treats you like family. He is an active father and very experienced and careful working with newborn babies, toddlers and young children. This place is wonderful! I've been coming here for a few years now and I just love it. The front desk staff are welcoming and kind. Appointment reminders come via phone and email. Staff is very adept at working with insurance companies. Dr Rios is efficient and thorough. He works my entire spine every time. I love that he cares enough to ask about members of my family when I go in. The ladies in the back room always go out of their way to make sure you get the individualized attention you need and you never lay there waiting for someone to see to your needs. I see Dr. Reif, and love him! He's very patient, very thorough, listens to what's hurting, and is very responsive. I had an insane back pain, and my PCP recommended going to an orthopedic surgeon to get it checked out.
