I was looked at now just oh well you have a small fibroid and nothing is gonna help your pain. We can maybe try this and maybe try that maybe try this but didn't wanna actually figure it out. Also her office doesn't even have an ultrasound machine (a basic in other offices) and she sends her patients to perinatal associates which also does not bill under OB so you end up with thousands of dollars out of pocket for something that is usually 100% covered in another office. However, he did a…read morevery poor job of keeping up with my gestational diabetes (i.e. he didn't instruct how often to take my blood sugar, was very non-chalant about it even though I have a history of large babies, did not ask me to keep up with my blood sugar numbers even though I did anyway). Towards the end of my pregnancy, he was too booked to see me personally. On delivery day, he did not come to check on me until the baby had already crowned even though he was there the entire time and was not with another patient. His demeanor was incredibly rude and unprofessional. His bedside manner was the worst I have ever witnessed. He was so different than he had been during our prenatal visits. He started to deliver the placenta on his own against my requests and I told him to stop (to allow it to separate on its own) and he replied, "well, if it doesn't come in a just a minute, I'll have to go because I have another baby coming" in a very rude tone. He cut the cord as soon as my little girl was delivered against my wishes, our discussions and my birth plan. He is very misinformed and argued that not cutting the cord immediately would force our baby to lose blood. He was very forceful and hurt me both physically and emotionally during the post-birth. Lastly, he never came to check on me after the delivery. That might have given me an opportunity to clear up why he was in such a terrible mood and so rude. He left me with a terrible birth experience. I would not recommend him to anyone.
