The main attractions for me are the Ferris wheel, the aquarium entry area and the cafe (+ sweets store). However, they have so much more to offer. It has departments for all sorts of team sports, all types of outdoor and adventure sports like fishing or hunting, fitness, footwear, games, toys, apparel, home goods and more. Do not forget to have the pizza and fudge at the cafe after a long stroll at the store. Also on the second floor they have beautiful taxidermy animals areas which is a fantastic site. It can get busy on the weekends so plan your visit accordingly because it's hard to get parking outside the store. After purchasing my bike and gear from them many years ago, they have been great when the bike needed some tunes. Now, I do want to mentioned that I purchased a Specialized Tarmac from them, a mid-range road bike. I have put many miles on the bike ever since! Here recently, I needed to ship the bike to San Francisco for a few months while I lived out there, they took great care of me and did the whole shipping process to get it to the other shop I used in SF. Once I came back and shipped the bike back, they were all very helpful in getting the bike back on the road. Highly recommended!

Their fall shipment is due in a couple weeks, so a trip through their sale items upstairs proved a gold mine find. Their cafe always has delicious fare, usually hosting an engaging group meeting or an after-trek beverage break. There are extended community happy hours every Thursday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a portion of all cafe sales directly benefiting a good cause. (Right now, it's the Infant Toddler Services of Kansas - serving Douglas County). The staff is affable, knowledgeable, engaging, smart, and courteous.
