There were ample empty spaces, reasonably lit areas (though there could have been more light ) and decent signage. Plus, convenient exit stairs place you at Freedom Way and Walnut, which is within walking distance of all things in the waterfront section of downtown. Because the exit pay station was broken (-1 star), there was line of cars waiting to pay and exit the garage. Surprisingly, even that process was quicker than I expected it to be. Overall, I was really pleased with the location and cost of parking here. I paid $13.00 to park for 7 hours.

So be warned - DO NOT LOOSE YOUR TICKET. The only negative you can't easily walk out of the garage entrance (where you car comes in) because it is so secure there are gates. You have to walk down to the side of the building to exit through the small door. But I guess that's the price you pay for security! This is the garage I tell people to park in who have never been to OTR. It's easy to find and it's by everything so you can say it's by xxx and it can be easily found.

It's impossible to get into unless you are parking your car or have your parking ticket with you to open the door (DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE YOUR PARKING TICKET!) The entrances have gates over them that open only for cars, and the doors require you to swipe your ticket in order to unlock them and get in. GQP, as it is now, is probably as good as it gets for a parking lot. I hate giving them a 5-star as I don't really get excited about a parking lot, but at the same time I think they deserve it for simply having made a proper parking garage.

The lot is well maintained with even paving and well marked parking spaces. The spaces are numbered as you will need this to pay the machine for your time. Payment can be cash or card which is convenient for people that do not typically keep cash on hand. This is also a designated parking lot for the pharmacy located on the corner of Hamilton and Chase with the first few spots reserved for that business.

Even offering to check cameras for the police report. Later that day I received a call saying the camera system does not work and there was no way of seeing when or who broke into the vehicle. When asked why I pay over $120 / month for parking I was informed it was a park at your own risk establishment by the corporate office. Do not pay $120 / month if you are worried about your personal vehicle being broken into as this garage does not have an adequate working surveillance system. As for the monthly parking, you are still required to pay with no discount after such event. Thank you again to the management and employees but the corporate office could be to no help what so ever. I do not recommend anyone parking here especially if you are concerned about theft, or knowing there's no security in place inside the garage.

Shuttles come around often and I haven't had to wait more then 10 minutes. The drivers are usually friendly and I've only had one time when the driver had an attitude. It wasn't with me but it was uncomfortable to watch. $10/ day so great value. Remember to use the same credit card to swipe in and out because you don't get a ticket. The parking garage is pretty clean and goes down about two stories. I did have a heard time getting cell phone service down there, but that's probably because of all the concrete. The rates here were also pretty decent for downtown and the first hour is only $3!
