I had Kevin do my pride tattoo in June. Got in super quick after texting, only an hour later. Which I think was a right timing thing, after I got there I heard phone calls saying they were booked through July. It was a good experience and didn't take long. I wanted this because this was my year of coming out. The line are crooked to symbolize that not all roads to finding your rainbow are straight and smooth. I recommend Kevin highly. read more

When you get a tattoo there are many things to consider. You have to make sure it's what you want and that it's what you love. These guys know this and will give such great care in your tattoo. I made the appointment the day before and they asked me what I wanted and so I sent in a picture and described how I wanted it. The next day I came in and he already had it cut out and ready to place and it was perfect. He got us in and did a phenomenal tat in a great amount of time. Went in for a meaningful tattoo, couldn't get in that day so scheduled for my birthday. Arrived 10 minutes early, the "Tattooist/Artist" wasn't on location yet, waited inside, comfy waiting area. Not really the place if your looking for peace of mind, didn't even get a happy birthday but it's a business. Furthermore beautiful, clean, quality work, done by Kevin, not much of conversationalist, but he gave me exactly what I asked for and nothing more or less. After serendipitously meeting Larry Don, a local, at a pizza parlor, we learned he was a fan of Spa City Ink. He called the owner and got us an appointment for that evening! All four of us were on vacation and decided we all wanted to get matching tattoos to commemorate. (Dorky, but awesome!) We all like the work that was done. SCI was professional, fun, and clean. Spa City Ink is clean and their artists do great work. They are also knowledgeable about tattoo art and will honestly advise you on the long term results. My friend insisted on white ink and they did it...6 months later she regretted the white ink because just as they warned her it looked more like a faint surface scar. She has since had it re-inked at Spa City and is very pleased. Have to respect that they're upfront and honest but let the customer make the final decision. And bonus, they're just a great group of folks that are kind. read more

Best shop ever 5 stars for a reason. Other shops can't touch them. Even tho they try.

Where to start, where to start. First of all, the staff treats you like you are an idiot, the clientele tends to be on the trashier side, the floors were dirty, they don't make appointments over the phone, and when I went in there was a giant hairy nude picture of Ron Jeremy (old school porn star) on the computer desktop! That is downright trashy, it may be a tattoo shop, but it is STILL a business! That right there made my mind up for me never to get work done there. My friend was dating an artist there a few years back, and they had a "stripper party" at the shop. The artists have foul mouths and like to drink and sometimes smoke (which is horrible for a tattoo) right over the client! Once, late at night, as I drove by, I saw what appeared to be a scantily clad dominatrix style woman in the bed of a truck with a whip, and a bunch of idiots hooting over her. I don't know if that was the SCI staff, but I wouldn't be suprised. I wish there was a rating lower than 1 star. read more

My wife and I wanted to get tattoos to commemorate our Hot Springs honeymoon. We had walked out of another shop that afternoon because they forgot we had an appointment. We had seen Spa City ink on our many travels up and down Central Avenue and decided to see if they could do a walk-in. They were fabulous! Very professional, very clean. They listened to what we wanted and talked to us about how the finished tat would look. Nick was awesome - super personality and VERY talented artist.
