She cut them for free after I complained, but made my nail polish even worse in the process.

Who takes lunch at 1:30-2:00pm just take lunch at 1 this is so inconvenient for me. 2. Not 24 hours closes at 6. So I have to come here on my lunch break because it's closed on weekends too, but if I take lunch I have to wait for them to reopen at 2:01. The last trip waited ten minutes for them to reopen no big deal called ahead to refill prescription had to do it with the phone robot because you can't talk to real people anymore. Robot said my prescription would be ready yesterday. Got busy took a late lunch and couldn't pick it up. Came by today and lady said it can't be filled???? It's because I carry two health insurances and switch out every time I get a refill. Seems like an easy solution would be to talk to a person who puts a note under the name profile that the insurance brand needs to switch when refilled. Now I'm at home waiting some more. The Buckstaff was built in 1912, and once you enter the locker room you step back in time over 100 years. It's one of 2 operating bathhouses on Bathhouse Row, but the only one that maintains the original feel. The treatments and fixtures are the same as they have been for the last century. I was fortunate to have Ricky as my attendant, who has worked at Buckstaff since 1977. He made sure I had a great experience! I also had an excellent massage from Ryan. I can't recommend Buckstaff Bathhouse enough. Step back in time and enjoy the thermal waters of Hot Springs!

This was our experience with the Quapaw bathhouse. We first tried to book online. Since I wanted to book both my husband and I, it was suggested that we call, so we did before our visit to Hot Springs. I expected to talk to a receptionist since we called in the afternoon during their regular business hours, but we got their voicemail. I left a message to please call us back so that we could book an appointment during our stay. After not receiving a call back after a day or two, we decided to visit in person once we got there. We waited in line at the Quapaw. I was excited because it looked so nice and relaxing inside. There were about 5 receptionists at a long counter, and after about 10 minutes one pulled us aside. We asked if there was any availability in the next couple of days while we were there. The receptionist looked iffy at first, then pulled up the information I had added when I tried to book online and told us she had a 2:30 open and blocked it off in their system for my husband and I. She was explaining to us who our masseuses would be, adding the kind of aromatherapy we liked, and that we needed to arrive ahead of time. As she went to swipe our credit card, she and another staff member started talking about our appointment. Apparently a staff member named J.J. overruled the time our receptionist blocked off for us seconds earlier and booked another couple that walked in behind us, but I guess J.J. was a faster typer? Maybe? We still don't know, because once she realized it was double booked we were told too bad, that's all they had, and nothing could be done about it. My husband and I looked at each other puzzled, like "what just happened"? So in essence, they booked us then canceled us. I even got a welcome email, then a cancellation email that I'm still scratching my head over. After pretty much saying "sorry, too bad" in front of the other people waiting in line, they all went back signing people in like we weren't even there. It was really awkward and not to mention a big disappointing let down. My husband and I left, stunned as to having an appointment, then not, not to mention the treatment after...and not really knowing what to do about it After talking about it, we decided to call to speak to someone about our experience, since maybe that was just a bad day. I've called, I've emailed, and I still haven't received anything back, not even an I'm sorry. My husband and I are on our way home, and we still haven't heard back from anyone at the Quapaw. I even waited to post this hoping we might. We got to do some really fun things in Hot Springs. After my recent experiences, but specifically my experience tonight, at the Central Ave location, I'm honestly questioning why. I had a prescription that had been pending for an entire week. I was told it would be ready today, yet I received no updates or communication of any kind. Because I needed it urgently, I called the pharmacy multiple times throughout the day. Each time, my call was either picked up and immediately hung up, or I was left on hold for extremely long periods--over 30 minutes once, and more than 16 minutes another time and then was still hung up on. When I finally reached someone, the situation somehow got worse. The woman who answered was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. She told me she had been on vacation and had "no idea" what was going on with my prescription. When I asked if she could check with another employee, she refused--not because no one was available, but simply because she didn't want to. She also said she couldn't help because it was "late," even though I had been calling all day and being hung up on. She showed zero concern when I explained how frustrating the repeated hang-ups were. She wouldn't check other Walgreens locations in Hot Springs, wouldn't look into the delay, and wouldn't offer any solution at all. The call ended with her giving me a sarcastic, cheerful "no problem" after providing absolutely no assistance. This level of customer service is unacceptable. The lack of communication, the repeated hang-ups, and the outright refusal to help were beyond unprofessional. I've trusted Walgreens for decades, but this experience at the Central Ave location was genuinely shocking. Walgreens needs to address this immediately. No customer should be treated this way--especially when they're relying on a time-sensitive prescription.

On both July 20 and 21, 2025, we went here for some items we needed. One side of the entry doors remained blocked both visits. I was always the first to greet employees. Nonetheless, I'm always grateful that Walgreens has their own private label that sells cheaper OTC (over-the-counter) drugs.

The next day (yesterday) I went to pick it up, only to find out they were closed for the 4th of July. I went back today only to find that the pharmacy has at some point started closing on weekends, but I could drive out to another Walgreens across town and get it. I did, and after waiting forever they told me they only had one of them, but I could get the other at yet a third location. So here I went across town again, only to be told that no, they didn't have it. I'm changing pharmacies, and I'm telling all my friends. They're all also old with multiple prescriptions. Walmart corp. lost money last year -- maybe they should cut their CEO's salary and reinvest in their stores. In the meantime, they'll get no more business from me.
