My family had a 7 hour drive ahead of us to return to Texas. My husband, the driver, was relaxed and energized enough to get us back home safely and he wasn't exhausted or in pain from our travels after the spa day. I had called the day prior to make an appointment for a gel pedi for me and kids mani/pedi for my daughter. We arrived at our appointment time and the owner was just finishing another customers pedicure. The shop itself is so lovely, and it does not smell like a nail salon. The owner later said that her husband likes to put plug ins around so the place doesn't smell like nails. The only employees we saw were the owners, husband and wife. They had 4 pedi chairs I believe and maybe 2 mani stations. I chose the super deluxe pedi since I was getting gel, I can't remember the actual name but it was the highest prize, and I think my daughters was $25 which is standard for kids services. I haven't had a pedi since before March, maybe even 2019, so her husband started working on my heels, which took him 30 minutes; he did an amazing job. Also, she painted little hearts on my daughters big toes, no additional charge. I was super happy with the service and finished product. I believe we were there about 2 hours, and our total was $105 plus tip. The pricing was exactly what it is at other shops I've been to in MO, pedicures started at $25 and went up from there. Huge color selection. I don't live in the area but I would say if you are on Hot Springs, please give them a call for an appointment. Oh, that was the other thing. They are "by appointment only" right now, which I liked because I didn't want to go to a shop full of people with my daughter. Everyone wore masks the entire time. I wish I could say the same for the two estheticians who provided services to us. My service provider started complaining almost immediately. Her daughter was waiting outside for her to wrap up since we were "the only appointments they had today." My express facial lasted just 20 minutes and included an exfoliation, masque, and serum application. She did not explain any of the products she was applying nor make recommendations for my skin. What really bothered me is that she just sat there while the exfoliant cream and masque were working, respectively. For $50, I am used to receiving a shoulder, hand, or foot rub while the products are doing their magic. This was my boyfriend's mother's first facial, and I have to say I was embarrassed that this was the "treat" I was giving her. She was moderately more impressed with her service provider, who provided a 25-minute facial and included a lip scrub. We were given express pedicures ($35) without double-checking if that's what we wanted. The view and massage chairs are quite nice in the pedicure room on the 3rd floor. However, if you have mobility issues, do not get your nails done here. The 3rd floor is only accessible via a very narrow circular staircase. The complaining during the quick and dirty pedicures (cuticle work, lotion rub, and polish change) was non-stop. First, they were complaining about working on the holiday and that they almost hadn't answered the phone to come in. Then, they complained about their work schedules and finally about cosmetology school. It turned what could've been a fun bonding experience for me and my boyfriend's mom into an exhausting (though short) experience to be overcome. Spending $170 total (before tip) for 2 express pedicures and 2 express facials with this kind of service was really awful. I will not be returning, and I won't be buying gift certificates for my boyfriend's family, who is local.

The two masseurs were professional and friendly. Tequila and Tom did a great job. I had a prenatal massage and my husband had a swedish massage. Overall we enjoyed ourselves after the initial confusion.
