We were able to book right away on a weekday during Art Basel by calling about availability and were slotted immediately and given verbal and text confirmation. Updating my review. As I mentioned, I did have a great experience at Spa E. There were three women while I was being pampered and they were all very lovely and accommodating. I wasn't happy with my manicure (pedicure was fantastic) and I was very pleased that the manager or owner Sabe reached out to me less than 24 hours and asked if I could come in to fix my nails. I have no doubt that they would have fixed them and made them beautiful, but unfortunately I was on a family trip and we already had plans for the next upcoming days. When I told Sabe I couldn't make it in she insisted on making it right and I was able to get a refund! Which was amazing!!! I have no doubt again that if I had gone in I would be satisfied, but it was great to have the salon care that much to make things right and care about employee satisfaction. Well, the only thing 5 here were the wonderful ladies. We didn't have an appointment and they did get us in. My husband has super think nails and NEEDS to soak, the girl at the desk understood and then the ladies doing it didn't get the memo and started trimming them dry and he was in pain, we told them so many times and they didn't understand. He pushed through the worst pedicure ever because he needed them shortened and then didn't get all that he paid for, no scrub or massage. I also didn't really fat much massage. If you go here be very clear on what you want and what it costs!!!! If this was my husband's first pedi he would never get one again (his words). They also should have reduced the price of his pedicure, in my opinion as a business owner, and they didn't. We will not be returning. read more

I first come across this Spa 5 years ago.. was the best facial I had ever had. I was waiting to get back to Miami and book myself in. Though I didn't remember the name and had to a lot of research to find this spot again. Thankfully they had a very distinctive layout and looking through images of spas in Miami I was able to find it. I had the same amazing 4 layer Fetish facial. And it was as good as I remembered it. My mom and I visited Spa E during a vacation in South Florida in late July of this year and we had a wonderfully relaxing experience! I received a 50-minute massage with one of the lovely staff and my mother a facial treatment. Underwhelming! Not worth the cost of services. Not as professional as one would expect. My husband and I booked a couples massage. It was in a curtained section right off the main service area which is also the entrance. We listened to the group of men having treatments for 20 minutes. Then part way through our massages the relaxing music shut off and never came back on. Our masseuses never told us their names. I had requested shoulder work but my masseuse didn't appear to know a lot about the muscles in that area. Our massages ended at different times even though we were together. When they were done they just walked out of curtained area without saying anything. It was odd. After this posting the owner did reach out via email to apologize for the service and offer another treatment complimentary. When were only in Miami for a short time so didn't take her up on the offer but appreciated the gesture. read more

Came in for a facial only, and that day they accepted walk in since they had availability. While they sit you to give you a facial, they start to massage your feets and ask if you want a massage also, without mentioning prices. I politely declined. After I had the facial, I asked for some waxing. When I came home I realized I still had to remove myself what was left... while they charge more than other waxing services in the same area. The facial service was great over all, the lady was nice. She then said she put some products in the bag for me to try home, which I though were samples only. Maybe it was a barrier language between her and me since we were not both native English speakers. The guy at the front desk ended charging me $470 + $54 tip included (they include it themselves). When I came home, I realized some of the products were already open ! I called back the Spa, went back to give back the products, thinking she gave me samples (I didn't look at the bag) and they didn't tell me the prices of all those products. The guy at the front desk was condescending and said the products were not open yet I showed him they were. He said they can't give a full refund of these products, only get you back 20% as per their policies. What business even do that ? NONE. We sat quietly and waited for 30 min before we were brought to an area behind a plastic wall, with stained sheets, dirty floor, and no Massage Therapist. The woman who greeted us told us the massage therapist was running 10 min late. My husband and I undressed, and waited for the two women to arrive. After laying in the salon without service, listening to Christian soft rock over the speakers, I had had enough. I got dressed and as I walked out, I saw a massage therapist going into my husbands area. I undressed, laid back down and waited another 10 min (2 Christian rock songs lol). Rather than just a mani-pedi, I stepped things up and had their "Foot Fetish" pedicure/foot massage and and then a manicure. They threw in the cucumber slices (see my pic below) and an eyebrow trim, and a wonderful Lincoln Road mask. If you haven't been there yet, please check them out - Brenda is the manager and keeps everything running smoothly and Vivian was the beautician. The atmosphere is serene with classical music and the sound of a waterfall to add to the azure blue and white ambiance. The studio is conveniently located in Lincoln Court, adjacent to the Euclid Oval, behind the 4D gelato shop and next to the Dog Bar. Worst pedicure ever! The nail tech cut the cuticles around my toe nails to the point that they were bleeding. When the owner asked how I liked the service I showed her my toes and she put a cotton ball on them. No apology at all. She was very overbooked there. There were three of us that booked pedicures together. When we arrived she was only able to take two of us so the third person waited two hours to get there pedicure & it wasn't even a complete pedicure. I was kind of shocked but paid the for the three pedicures and left. I called the next day to speak with a owner and she was really rude to at me on the phone. She did remember who I was and was not at all apologetic. Very very poor customer service. I would not recommend Spa E to anyone !! read more

I really don't like giving bad reviews, but sometimes you just don't have a choice. They did accept me as a walk in, which was cool, but everything else about the experience was subpar. The ladies who did my services were lovely, but the outcome was pretty bad. I had a full set done with gel polish, and a regular pedicure. The pedicure was fine. My manicure looks awful. It's been 2 days, and I'm considering going somewhere else to re-do it. First of all, I don't think what they used was actually even acrylic; it went on like dip powder. The gel polish is already chipping off...again... it's only been 2 days. The nails were not shaped well. My cuticles were the entire reason I wanted an manicure and they didn't even touch them. They couldn't figure out if the buffers that were out had already been used or not. I had to request a new one. All the area around my nails is cut up from the buffing and filing. I had to tell them a few times that they were hurting me. To be honest, I was the last client of the day, and it just felt like they were trying to rush to get me out. The place itself looks really nice. They used decent products, but I think the skillset of some of the staff doesn't match the menu or the prices. Needless to say, I paid over $100 for something that I'm going to have to get completely redone in less than 5 days. I can't speak for the rest of the services, but mine were really disappointing. read more

I was underwhelmed and overcharge, clearly this place only wants to build your services just to build there sales ticket!!! Alecsica was a great person I felt that she was being overworked by her boss. She did the mani and the pedi and facial and the microdermabrasion that I didn't ask for ! The masseuse was HORRIBLE I specifically asked for the " oh so deep " which is a deep tissue massage , I don't receive that instead the massage therapist recommended that "I've should have got a man to do the massage (during the massage). The service was supposed to last 50 mins it definitely was a 28 min service . My bill was $941.00 . I definitely felt cheated because I didn't receive good services including the ones I didn't ask for . I felt like a target and they just tried to build there sale . I enjoyed the ambience. I enjoyed speaking with some of the professionals that worked for the spa. I came in from DC to experience some relaxation. With my new partner!! I can tell I was being rushed to complete all my services. The massage was for 50min it was complete in 30min. She didn't listen to what I wanted. Or areas of pain. Requested deep tissue and revived feather strokes. I literally had to take her hand and show her how to do it. Properly. The microdermabrasion was just okay. The facial was hardly a facial. Sorry. The woman Alessia, was sweet. And doing her best. The manger was a greedy...little lady. Watch her. The best thing was the manicure and pedicure. However it didn't come with a massage. Oddl as heck. Probably the WORST experience in a massage!! Don't waste your money. I went with my husband this morning and when we got there, there was a lady cleaning the floor that had no idea why I was there... I told her we had an appointment for 10:00am. She said the lady was running late... The two massage ladies did get there later and very unprofessionally showed us to a room that had a curtain for a door and told us to undress. They after came in and proceeded with the massages which were the worst!!!! You could hear everything going on outside and the massages were crappy to say the least. I don't know what she did with my neck but I left with a huge Headache. As for my husband, his massage lady was very jerky with the way she handled her massage. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! I am in love. Today I treated myself with the Fetish Pedicure and a Mani. My girl is Noemi, and she is amazing. This foot care took me out of Earth and transported me to Heaven. Returned to Spa E after a +2 months hiatus due to Covid19 to find the experience still solid with a few noticeable changes. Would recommend if you are looking for a safe, clean experience. All of the employees at front desk are wearing masks & screens, offering hand sanitizer and a kind, professional friendly welcome. I ended up running late and Brenda and her team were very accommodating to the change and still allowed me to keep my appointment. THE SPA CHAIRS ARE DIVINE! My friends and I went a few weeks ago for a mini spa session just to pamper ourselves. And pampering we did...at least that's what the billed showed :oP The spa is located just off of Lincoln Road. The design gives off an ethereal, New Age Jetson feel...everything is white with remote controlled recliners posing throughout the room. The manicures, pedicures, and facials are done there. In the back, are two private rooms for massages. I didn't go too crazy since I needed money to eat that night. O_o So, I just went with the aromatherapy spa session aptly named "Oh So Good" that lasted for 50 minutes. At a cost of $105, not including the automatically added tip at the end, it was alright. The massage therapist did a pretty good job at focusing on the pressure points and relieving the tightness in those areas. I was ready to pass out into a blissful sleep...if only she hadn't gotten the oils into my hair. My head sprouts more oil than the state of Texas, so any additional oils added makes my head look like a grease rag. I wouldn't have mind if I had the chance to run home and wash it out but I was nowhere near home and thus, I couldn't. Argh. I'm a little anal retentive about my hair, as if you folks can't tell... :oP All in all, this day spa ranks moderate in caliber. A little overpriced for the services provided but then again, this is South Beach... 'nuff said. read more

My 18 year old daughter & I made a last minute decision to get our brows waxed. We decided to give this place a try. What a mistake. 1. We entered the door to the far right of the front desk. They asked how they could help us & when I started to answer, he told me that I needed to lower my voice because there were people there getting massages & we shouldn't disturb them. I felt like he told me to shut up. Why would you have your massage area near the entrance & exit where people tend to have conversations. We certainly felt that we were not as important as the other customers. 2. They were significantly higher in price than at home. I somewhat expected that because it is in SOBE & on Lincoln Road. 3. Our technicians did a HORRIBLE job on both of our brows. Note - we both had someone different. Both women. It took about 30 or more minutes & our brows were just done a couple of weeks prior. 4. It seemed that she cared more about selling me the fill in powder than anything else. She didn't even match my color when she applied it. I looked like a clown. Which isn't exactly how you want to look on vacation or any other day. Maybe it was to cover up the botched job that she did. Then she just added it to my order & I had to tell the man at the front that I didn't want it. The same man that told me to be quiet. I would never go here again. If you do, be careful. The reviews on TripAdvisor don't look so great either. read more
