I spotted the sign and returned after our time in old port. Lilly I think her name was greeted me and provide the rates $40.00 1 hr foot and leg massage. Where I live that is easily $95.00 charge so I was all in and booked for the following morning. Foot soak in Chinese herbs and then the real bliss took place. Great attention to pressure as it started relatively light compared to how it finished after the foot, ankle and leg had relaxed. Special strokes around the ankle and top of the foot (base of the toes up the shin) was incredible and the acupressure points in the heel and arch really stimulated a whole lot of well being feelings throughout the body. When she began to work on my plantar fascia(sp?) lookout,,,that was the stuff of legend. If it was feasible I'd return weekly, especially at that price. Wish I was there right now!

Unfortunately, this place failed to meet our expectations and we'd only rate this place 2/5 as the staff just don't have their usual strength or energy to work your tired muscles. Maybe years ago, but not now. During the session we both politely mentioned "this muscle is quite sore and could use more work thank you (in Mandarin too)" But, they ignored those multiple suggestions and just glided over different areas that were fine. Overall, it was a disappointing experience since we were looking forward to a relaxing session. Writing this review so you have a good idea of the service quality in the Summer of 2026.

I have been visiting this salon for over 10 years and when the owner changed (less than 1 year ago) I was very upset because Kim was a very nice and professional master. But after I was assured on the phone that everything would be done no worse, I came and was really very happy with the result. Lam is a very qualified master!!! And all the more so, all the subsequent events look very dirty and dishonest! I have been using acrylic nails for over 20 years due to necessity. Depending on time and money, I visit the salon not every 2 weeks (as RECOMMENDED, not REQUIRED), but usually 4-6 weeks. And I have never had any problems with even a less qualified technician. I sometimes did nail renewal once a year and everything was fine and everyone was happy! I had a normal relationship with Lam, or so it seemed to me. One day he decided to change my nails, although I asked him to do only a refill, I was surprised, but kept quiet. And in vain. And then at the beginning of December I noticed that he was doing a refill in some other technique. When saying goodbye, I said that I would come before the New Year. Lam, laughing, answered that "we will see each other soon". A week later, 2 of my nails flew off, for no reason. When I came, he just hid and another girl did these nails for me. I paid, since it was not her fault. A week later, I lost 2 more nails! Apparently, this is how Mr. Lam decided to fix the problem of frequency of visits and earning money!!! When I came to the salon, he was busy with another client and I said that I would wait. When he was free and I started making claims against him, he started running around the salon and yelling that I come once every 3-4 months and that's why my nails are falling off. But this is complete nonsense!!! Everyone who does this procedure understands that it is impossible. In the end, he said that he would not do anything and that I should go to another salon. How is that? I sat for an hour and should leave with nothing? Then another master did everything for me, I paid, although she did not want to take it (Lam said not to take it). But I also do not want to be indebted to a dishonest person. Lam is also dishonest in that he never talks about a 15% discount at the beginning of the week! It has already been written here (in previous reviews) about the violation of work ethics. Here there is simply a rude attitude towards clients and impudence in making money by any means. I think this case deserves publicity in consumer protection agencies! And I will try to do everything so that this person loses his license to provide services. I do not recommend this salon to anyone! And I will wait until a more adequate owner appears there!

A 1hr foot massage started with a 10 minute neck, shoulder, and arm massage as my feet soaked in warm blue water. She then did a very nice foot and leg massage, hitting all of the right pressure points, muscles, etc. She used her hands, arms, elbows, stretched my feet and legs, used a lot of pressure which I liked, and also finished by draping hot towels on my legs and feet. It was pretty comprehensive and my feet were so smooth after (all oil was cleaned off). I've had foot massages by over 40 different massage therapists in my life (I backpacked through Asia and got massages in every city), and this was probably in the top 10% of the ones i experienced. The place is not fancy but it was inexpensive and she knew what she was doing. I will have to come back to try the other massages.
