Omg! I got this on a Groupon w not much expectation, and was blown away! The atmosphere is great, and Carrie is very sweet and has a soothing disposition.. I got a microdermabrasion w a glycolic add on, my skin is already brighter & my pores smaller the day after.. she gives you mini hand/arm massages and such during , I went in super stressed , and literally left feeling like i was walking on sunshine, I got totally spa wasted! This was hands down the best facial I've had. I found SPA WASTED through Groupon. I tried the microdermabrasion + micro current facial (and added on a glycolic acid peel). The results are glowingly noticeable and better than some laser facials I have had (IPL & Clear & Brilliant). Carrie was wonderful and I ended up buying a 3 pack of future facials. I had myself a little spa day today at Spa Wasted. I was warmly greeted and made to feel very welcome by Carrie, co-owner and a talented esthetician. I was pleasantly surprised that Carrie, in addition to using top notch products had the modality of microcurrent, or as I call it, the lifting treatment that the celebrities use as a go to before red carpet events. How do I know this? I am a licensed esthetician in private practice for 25 years and it is one of the most requested treatments, also referred to as the non surgical face lift. I will be back to see Carrie. She is highly skilled and performs with a love of what she does! I went in on a Groupon, and am definitely glad that I found this place! Carrie was very friendly and professional, and the spa room was beautifully lit with candles and clean. Made for a comfortable experience! I like how she walked me through the treatment as she went through each step. 2 scrubs, 2 treatments, a "cold hammer" to close the pores, and some serum and sunscreen. Plus, she gave a lovely neck and arm massage in my favorite scent of cream, pumpkin! Anyway, I just had my treatment done yesterday, so I'm not sure yet what the final results will be (microdermabrasion and microcurrent takes a few days), but I've already booked my next appt for a treatment facial with her (we'll do Vit C, pumpkin, and anti-aging), and I know that she's going to improve my skin! When I bought the Groupon for a spa day I was super excited to treat myself after finals was over. When I attempted to schedule an appointment I was informed one of the therapists was out unexpectedly on maternity leave. Carrie offered to schedule me for the first day the other therapist returned from leave (one month later) even though my Groupon would be expired by then. I understand stuff like this happens & was quite pleased with the customer assistance provided by Carrie. I unfortunately ended up getting sunburnt two days before the appointment. I tried calling that afternoon to reschedule. I called twice more over the next two days, including an hour before my scheduled appointment, still no response. I found a different phone number on the confirmation for the facial, so I called that instead as I didn't want them thinking I no showed for an appointment. Carrie answered the phone and was surprised I hadn't been contacted back yet. She helped me reschedule the appointment & apologized. Their name isn't on the building but they are located in the big white medical building you can see from the intersection. There is parking in the lot in front and a few spots behind the building (the parking back there is tight so I wouldn't recommend trying to park back there if you can avoid it). Their suite is upstairs about half way down. There's stairs on the back end of the building but if you need an elevator I think you need to go to the main lobby for the building. The spa is super cute and relaxes you when you enter. The waiting room is a bit small but there's some coffee/tea, a sofa and some books. Carrie was wonderful bringing me the paperwork I needed to fill out as soon as I walked through the door. I wish they had told me to come 10min early to fill it all out or emailed it to me ahead of time. My facial with Carrie was wonderful. She's so knowledgeable. My only complaint was that throughout the service she kept confirming I had the Groupon, which makes me think there may have been things left out due to that. Overall the facial I received was worth more than I paid for the Groupon! Carrie was a five star experience!! My massage was very relaxing as well but I was also once again asked a few times if I had a Groupon. I thought it was a little weird but I was ready to book another spa day for next month. I had a great experience until it came time to leave. I tipped based on what the Groupon had said the full value of the services were. I gave the massage therapist who was now behind the desk her tip. The tone in her voice & the look on her face as she asked if the money in her hand was for both of them really quickly turned me off to rebooking with her. Even after being told that was just hers, I was a little shocked about the negative reaction to what I believed to be a good tip. Carrie was busy with another client so I asked if there was an envelope that I could use to leave Carrie's tip in. There were no envelopes so the woman (while playing with her phone) said she'd take it and give it to Carrie. I left the spa day relaxed but also very conflicted about whether or not I'd come back. Great services provided but some very inconsistent customer service between the two therapists. Sadly months later the issues with scheduling/rescheduling and what happened with the one therapist as I was leaving stick in my mind more than the services provided, so I won't be returning. I do highly recommend Carrie and her facials! read more

I experienced extremely xenophobic discrimination from Carrie who denied me service while presenting ZERO symptoms of illness today. She examined (touched) my face and literally said she didn't feel or see any indicators but that "I looked sick" --- My only sin was looking like I just woke up and rushed to make my appt on time (bc I did). Additionally, I told them I could provide a doctors note which should have settled the whole situation and/or call my doctor but instead they refused service. Stating, they had an extremely long-standing client in the next room who was pregnant and paranoid . Suddenly the story shifted and my laugh sounded like a cough. I can legitimately PROVE I am not sick and have no symptoms. I would never have showed up for the appt if I felt the slightest twinge of illness bc not only would I be spreading disease and putting her and others at risk but bc it would also further exasperate the issue for myself. The appropriate thing to do was believe me. If you didn't, you could have at least allowed me to prove it. And if by some reason you thought the pregnant woman took priority as a client than offer me a free service don't just tell me I should leave. Learn to run a business, take a costumer service or communications class. I can understand her intention but her approach and impact was unthoughtful and biased. Furthermore a refund was warranted especially bc SHE cancelled the appt, SHE created an unwelcoming and unsafe space -- beyond the fact that she never disclosed her refund policy at point of purchase. Unreal, trust I have told everyone I know about my experience and definitely submitted a discrimination claim with the better business bureau. NEVER EVER RETURNING TO THIS RACIST ESTABLISHMENT. read more

I went in there with some uneven, dry skin, but she let me know that I was in great hands and that she would give me the best possible facial for my skin.
