The spa name describes the space perfectly - a quaint, three room salon nestled on Main Street. The facilities were clean, and we were greeted with cold waters upon entering. For the facial portion: Mindy was terrific and knowledgeable in her craft. She explained each step of the facial, and asked thoughtful questions about my skincare routine prior to performing the signature facial. Mindy incorporated her massage therapy background into the facial by treating me to a scalp massage and neck stretch - one of my favorite parts!! My skin was absolutely radiant after an hour with Mindy (before & after attached). For the massage portion: My hour with Lovely went by far too quickly!! Come from an athletic background, it's hard for me to find a massage therapist that truly targets muscle movement and applies enough pressure to work through my knots. Lovely did just that. Also be sure to check out the reviews that have been muted by Yelp. Needless to say, the response from the business isn't great. They don't take accountability; there is no apology; there is no effort to make it right. Instead, they tried to say it happened a while ago (it happened about a year ago) and that I lied. I did not. As I mentioned in my first review, I received a PARTIAL refund. I am still out of pocket $1,200 for services I was unable to use. I would have been happy to move that money to facials or something else, but they refused and only offered the laser treatment. There are a lot of med spas out there. My recommendation is to check out another place.
