The color didn't take at all. After spending 2 1/2 hours there she said my hair was resistant I told her it wasn't resistant the 1st time I came when Rosie prepared the formula or even when I used Loreal. Her response was it happens when we age. It has nothing to do with age its the formula she prepared. She told me to come back Thursday and she would try another formula. When my husband saw my hair he said you are not going back there again. I agree my hair is a mess and scalp is red and irritated. My hair was healthy when I went in, now it's very dry and burnt. I am using conditioning treatments to try to restore it. I am so sorry I went here. I knew it was students that did the service but that teachers oversee their work. I guess I didn't count on the teacher to be so incompetent. I learned a valuable lesson.

You just can't beat a $25 50-minute massage. My husband and I registered for Sunday appointments, but there are options on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays at 1 and 2pm. When we arrived, there was a very smooth check in process and we just had to fill out a quick questionnaire about our wellness, experience with massages, injuries. and preferences. We were then each assigned a student. He got a female and I had a male student. Both were very professional, reviewed our charts with us, asked the right questions, and helped us transition from the changing room to the tables (which was a strange process I'll tell you about later.) The massages take place in a room with twelve massage tables and partitions. It's pretty quiet for the most part, but not everyone starts at the same time so there was quite a bit of noise at the end when others were finishing earlier before us. The massages themselves were great! They were just as good as what I'd expect to pay full price for at a chain massage spa. The students adjusted to any preferences or comments that I had, and were very attentive to my requests. I think sometimes a student massage can be even better than a professional massage because they're trying to hard to get it just right for you, and really putting in a conscious effort. I have nothing but great things to say about the quality of my massage, and my husband agreed about his! However, this was between a 4 and 5 star review for me. The reason I almost docked a star is the awkward and somewhat-uncomfortable undressing/dressing process. Because the massage studio isn't private, you have to get changed in either the bathroom or one of the breakrooms, then walk to the massage table through a room of people wrapped in a towel. The student are super skilled at making sure that nobody sees your bits and pieces, but it still takes away from the overall experience. However, it's totally understandable that they are doing their best given the facilities and they do truly do a great job. Thus, a 5 star experience due to massage quality, professionalism, and value. Highly recommend!

I have seen approximately 3 people with issues and that is in the 8 years I have been coming. I would say that if you are a high maintenance person (especially with your hair), this may not be the right spot for you. Also, don't kid yourself, if you ARE high maintenance, you know who you are, it's OK. Just remember, these are STUDENTS. If you are open to students learning on you this may be a very affordable alternative for your hair! The one down side is the check-in process. I have decided to sue her as well as contact the Better Business Bureau. They decided to send another person to bring everything outside because the "boss" didn't want to face the person.
