I set there for 20 minutes waiting to order, and several tables where empty so it wasn't that busy. Then the coffee. i took my time and finished first cup, but refill didn't come. So, i decided to hold my cup high in the air so someone would noticed I needed a refill. Everyone in the place could see it and smile or laugh. After at least 3 minutes my arm was tired and it wasn't fun anymore. Then a waiter came through to another table, and I actually held me empty cup in the isle so she would fill my cup, but she was busy, went around me and the cup, and didn't acknowledge me or get me coffee or send someone. The They do take my order-- 30 minutes later, no food.. Then they bring it.. guess what-- she ask, is this what you ordered,, I simply said, you know its been so long I plum forgot.. I eat it, it was good food. I've been here twice. I really want to like it. 1. The country ham on the menu is not salt cured, old style country ham. It's grilled city ham. 2. Took my grandson there for breakfast this morning. We both had the pancake breakfast. The pancake wouldn't melt the butter at all. The plate it was served on was cold. So, a cold pancake on a cold plate with unmeltable butter chunks on top. Then, COLD syrup to top it off. Want a view? The view is always obscured by filthy windows. I don't mind the higher prices these days if the food is good. Cold food is unacceptable. Filthy windows are horrible. Ain't going again. Charging almost $9 for 2 eggs, 2 sausage, and 1 pancake? Fine. But it better be hot and fresh, served with clean tables and windows and a big smile. Got a craving for breakfast for supper while in the area recently. Got take out. Pancake- huge! A hint of vanilla & a sweet. Bacon- cooked perfect, Eggs- over medium but a bit too done Biscuits- meh. I wax far more into the pancake. I would've liked real butter. Will eat here again if opportunity arises, as it's difficult to get decent food at a reasonable price point. read more

I don't why this restaurant only has 3 stars. I stopped there for breakfast on my home to Texas. I found the food delicious. I ordered over medium eggs. They were perfect. Many restaurants do not know what over medium means. They are either practically raw or cooked hard. The biscuits were light, fluffy, and yummy. My waitress was really sweet. Let me start by saying the service was decent. The food was normal breakfast food. I had a problem with my eggs and asked for something else in its place. After receiving the check the waitress said if I felt that the bill should be changed she would ask the manager. I told her no but it should have been remedied before I received the check. After reviewing the check I saw that they charge you $0.01 for a glass of water... First restaurant in my lifetime to ever see charge you for a "glass of water"! Food was ok at the most. read more

Terribly disappointed. No hostess, after standing at the entrance for 3 to 4 minutes a waitress came out and told us to seat ourselves. Almost 15 minutes later with no menu and no service we left. Wife spoke to another employee and were told that the health was there writing them up. Not impressed and will not return. read more
