I've lived here for over 6 years and it's been fantastic! I feel safe and supported by the office staff who always know who I am when I call with my laundry list of questions. Both Dan and Donna are friendly and eager to assist with any needs you may have. That said, they are both no nonsense individuals. They have a job to do and they do it well and with great professionalism, from my experience. If you're looking to bend the rules or get away with infractions, this isn't the place for you. They put our safety as a #1 priority which may be frustrating to some that don't understand why some of these rules exist. This is a community, people look out for each other and are friendly to everyone. However, if you're not following the rules of the park, you will be outed by the nice old lady next door, or the family down the street... then the park management will be contacting you! :)

I wasn't traveling alone, I had one of my managers with me that needed her own space to run her meetings too. We came across ActionSpot on Yelp and they opened when we landed at 9am. Local competitors opened at 10am or later, which wouldn't work for us. We called the number online and Olga answered. She was very helpful to answer my questions about parking. Once we checked in, the Manager for ActionSpot took us under her wing and showed us around. Tamara's energy is awesome - she and Olga asked what we needed for today and since we were full of meetings, they put us in the conference room, which was perfect. They also provided a small heater for us since we were cold. They offered beverages, snacks and even bagels in the morning. Parking is easy - front and back access. The facility is spacious and clean. There is a big bullpen with many seats and lounge chairs for those who don't need an office space. I would highly recommend coming here. My mom is there…read moreright now and what I am hearing is awful, thank goodness she had good friends there that are trying to help her, but being that is a place that is supposed to help people and yet they are rude, unprepared, unprofessional, and slow in helping my mom, I cannot believe this place is still in operation. And getting a meeting with them is even worse. My mom has had to wait for her pain medication after having a hip replacement surgery, yet if she didn't sign the contract she wasn't getting anything she was told by the med nurse, she was sick and had pneumonia and ended up in ICU, had lots of issues, went to this place cause she is on her own in AZ and they are supposed to help her get better so she can go home, yet they didn't believe her when she told them her health issues, they were not prepared for her upon arrival, they did not give her information about the place, they did not tell her there was a bath schedule, they gave her an intake at 11 pm at night when she was tired and exhausted and needed rest when she first arrived, it takes 45 mins to get her dressed today, and they play favorites with other residents they "like", if the nurses don't like you then you have to wait for everything. Being I live away from my mother it pains me that a place that is supposed to be trusted to take care of the elderly or help people get better so they can get back to better health doesn't take much pride in their facility or the people they hire to take care of our loved ones.

That's because…read morethe residents are senior citizens (they are the age group who is least familiar with the Internet). I moved here recently, but I'm from the Digital Age. Pros -Peaceful: Most of the homes are far from the nearest street, which makes it safe and quiet. -Convenient: Walking distance to a main street (Hesperian Blvd) and a few minutes drive to a shopping mall (Southland). -Affordable: The prices are surprisingly low for the Bay Area. A 2-bedroom 2-bathroom home in this park is often under $200,000. Cons -Strict: You can only live here if you're 55+ years old or if you're related to a resident who's 55+. And you have to be at least 18. Anyone under 18 can visit but they can't reside. If you're looking for a home in the East Bay and you're qualified to live here, you should definitely look into it. One minor thing: The term "mobile home" is misleading because these residences aren't movable/mobile. These aren't trailers, RVs, or motor vehicles. They are houses, but maybe not in the usual sense. Another name for them is "manufactured home", but I prefer to call them "small houses".
