Concord Mobile Home Park is one of the best kept parks in the area. Everytime I have guests, they comment on how nice the park is and how it exceeds their expectations. I've lived here for over 6 years and it's been fantastic! I feel safe and supported by the office staff who always know who I am when I call with my laundry list of questions. Both Dan and Donna are friendly and eager to assist with any needs you may have. That said, they are both no nonsense individuals. They have a job to do and they do it well and with great professionalism, from my experience. If you're looking to bend the rules or get away with infractions, this isn't the place for you. They put our safety as a #1 priority which may be frustrating to some that don't understand why some of these rules exist. This is a community, people look out for each other and are friendly to everyone. However, if you're not following the rules of the park, you will be outed by the nice old lady next door, or the family down the street... then the park management will be contacting you! :) read more

I lived there for 15years . And for 15years I put up with bullshit from Dan Jones !!!!! I was sexually herashed by Dan Jones and was constantly being told about everything I did and the company I had over . I was accused of things I knew nothing about ! We where illegal served papers so he could take are home . He had his employees go to court and bear false witness against me for a restraining order so I couldn't even pack my own property too move out . Fortunately I was allowed to have a realtor sell my home 1 get my personal property from my home . He never fixed the main water control valve to that lot !!!! He installed video camera s pointed to my back door . Illegally . The upper pool and clubhouse are not within legal access for the handicap to access !!!!!! He threatened me constantly with his lawyer and I am not the only one . He violated my rights and other people who live or have lived in the park . That man is not a a good person at all . He should not be running anything that can effect a family s we'll being . He is a theif and a lier with no morals .the photos of 5he closed sign on the office door are at 10 minutes till closing time when I was bringing my rent check . The photos of the back of the main laundry room which was over my back fence you can see camera s facing my back door . 5he other photos are of the main water valve to my home . That couldn't be turned off when my hot water heater burst . It is the parks responsibility for maintenance of that valve . By not being able to shut off the water I had property damage !!!!!! The park does look nice but it's not a good place to live . I should have sued for many reasons but didn't have the money too play his game . read more

I have lived here in the park for almost 6 years now. First time ever stepping foot in a mobile home park and was impressed. VERY clean and family friendly. Our manager Dan is always welcoming and helpful. Have definitely made lifelong friends with many of my neighbors. I tell anyone I can they should look into moving here whenever a unit opens up. read more

Ive been living in the park for about 5 years now and its been great ! I have children who enjoy playing outside and the manager Dan does an excellent job making sure the park is safe for them to do so. The cleanliness of the park is what attracted me to this area. I recently put my home up for sale and wanted to write a review based on my last 7 years here. What can I say, it's been a pleasure to know I live in a clean, quiet and well managed community of homeowners. I am reading the 1 star reviews and can only say this.....PRO TIP: If you live within the rules you have agreed to, invest in your home and not cause unnecessary problems you will have NO ISSUES. Something tells me the folks writing these negative reviews would have issues wherever they landed. Dan and park management strive to keep the park clean and quiet and free of drama. How anyone would take issue with this is beyond me. He is running a business, not an adult day care center. Be a good member of the community and you will appreciate this place and the management that cares. Two clean pools, laundry facilities, clubhouses, car wash stations, almost daily maintenance of the trees and shrubs, minimal cars on the street and quiet as can be at night. Sounds terrible, huh??? If I was not in a place to have to move for family obligations I simply would not leave. This is one of the last affordable options in the Bay Area and I recommend it highly. read more

I love living here, I think Dan does and outstanding job managing the park!

The park was formerly a senior-only park, but is now all ages and I see plenty of families with kids here. Yes, the park management is strict, but this is a good thing because it keeps the park clean and quiet. If you take a look at the mobile home park down the road, you will see a huge and scary difference. There are pools, laundry facilities, rec rooms, and newly installed solar panels that cover some of the parking areas, providing shade and supplementing power to the park. The assistant manager Roy is a great guy - super friendly and has helped us out countless times with fixing stuff around our mobile home. It is slightly inconvenient that we can't park on the street at night, but if everyone parked on the street, it wouldn't be wide enough for emergency vehicles to get through, so I guess safety trumps convenience in this case. My family has lived here for five years and we love it. read more

Dan, park manager and staff cares about giving every family a safe drug free place to live. If you look around the park you will see that it has clean yards and homes the yards are well taken care of no matter what the age of the home is. When you make a decision to purchase a home in the park you must qualify to live in the park just like everyone else that lives in the park. Once you qualify to live in the park Dan will schedule a personal meeting with you and your family so that everyone completely understands all of the parks rules and regulations and at that time he will answer any question that you may have. If you agree then you will sign a park space rent lease agreement. Concord Mobile Home Park originally was a senior park and now a family park what's nice about the park you have youth and seniors living in the park and makes it a wonderful place to live for everyone. This review is based solely upon my phone call with their office. I left a message at 7:45am and I had a returned call within the hour. My interest in the park was to stay close to my family in Walnut Creek for 6 months while my husband is deployed. Barbara, the women I spoke to, was very upfront about the limited availability of RV spots, their rule about vehicles having to be less than 10 years old, and their rule against pets (though they would accommodate our service dog). She was kind enough to keep my information should anything change. I've traveled all up and down CA in our 92' Tioga RV and rarely have I come across a park employee who is so candid with what my expectations should be while remaining courteous. read more

This is by far the best park in Concord. The manger has kept this park desirable for all who live here. If anyone thinks he is strict it's because they don't appreciate the rules being enforced. Everyone has the rules thoroughly explained before they move in. There are constant improvements being done to enhance the park as well as the regular maintenance. I would have never considered living here but the reputation and exceptional management made it an easy decision. read more

Concord Mobile home park is NOT a senior only park. I have lived there for 4 years and we really love the park..and I am far from a senior citizen. The common areas are very well maintained. The pools are clean as well. Management has been in place for many years and is very thorough to make certain the rest of the homeowners are getting decent solid neighbors who will take care of their homes as well. I have no plans to move out any time soon. We love it there. read more

I can't thank Dan and Barbara enough. My uncle lived in this park for 18 years and loved it. When he started showing signs of declining health Dan contacted us to let us know. I was blessed to see my uncle before he passed because Dan went out of his way to help. The kindness, compassion, empathy, and knowledge they shared is invaluable in this difficult time. Truly angels on earth. Aside from helping our family, the park is clean, well maintained, and a nice quiet place to live. Decent park, but the management is horrible. This is a senior-only park and being accepted into the park is very difficult. This is a huge problem when you're trying to sell your home. The manager, Dan, is on a power trip. He's nice at first, but if you ever cross him, be prepared for bitchy phone calls galore. He's nice in voicemail messages, of course, but in person he'll yell and swear. The managers don't use computers, so you can't contact them by email or do anything online. They insist on payment early in the month, which is reasonable, but then wait to cash your check until the end of the month, which completely screws up my accounting. Mobile home prices are cheap -- there's no need to live where the management will make your life hell. You've been warned. read more

I just had the worst experience ever. I was ready to pay cash for a brand new unit in the park however you need park approval. I called multiple times to get the application and they said I would have to come between 8-4 to get the application in person. I was finally able to take time off work and came down there from out of the area. I even called ahead of time to let them know I was coming. I explained I was taking time off work and coming from out of the area. They called me back to tell me to come after 1:15 since the manger would not be available until then. I came at 1:30 and he wasn't there. She refused to call him and let him know I was there. I was never told I had an appointment. She informed me they would be there until 4pm that day. The office lady was extremely rude to me and told me that I was late for my appointment and it was my fault that I didn't ask for a specific appointment time. Since I took time off work and drove all the way there I waited for the manager to come back and he was just as rude. He said he needed to go to the bank and I could call for an appointment for tomorrow. He was very rude and when I tried to explain he said he didn't care. They have absolutely no professionalism and are completely uninterested in giving any customer service. I can't imagine having to deal with these people if I were to live there. I feel bad for the owners of the park and the person selling the home because they are missing out on a lot by having such unprofessional people working in the park office. I understand why the units in the park are not selling and why the owners of the unit I was buying warned me about the office staff being so difficult. I would give this zero stars if possible and you couldn't pay me to live in this park. read more

Manager and assistant manager are very rude !!!!! Also tried to purchase a new home there and we applied with 7 lenders and not one lender will deal with the owner and management there due to their rudeness and stipulations. After researching this a bit more there are reports on the internet about this park becoming a section 8 housing facility shortly in the future. Also made an appointment to get an application for the housing space and upon arriving the management never even showed up to meet with us. We called and left a message several times to reschedule an appointment and every time they failed to return any of our calls. After calling the relator selling one other home we looked at he replied that every one that had interest in the used unit was turned away by management and the poor home owner is stuck without being able to sell his home now because lenders refuse to deal with the owner and management there. The next day the relator stopped representing his client due to the drama of the property owner and his manager Dan. Save yourself any drama and find a better park and home elsewhere that lenders will do business with. read more

concord mobile home park is a ok park when u just come visit. it looks nice an well rounded cause of the nice well kept homes . but the people that live in them do drugs ,are special needs people , creepy men ,or seniors. the management is the worst part ! they are very controlling . you have to fix your yard as they want . they don't let u park on the street you have to leave the park or park it under the over hang. the management includes the manager ,asst manager, his wife ,and gardener witch watch everyone, you have no privacy . they have told people we can have pets but if you have a cat you shouldn't let them outside .they have told the residences that they have placed traps all over the park an sending their cats to the pound ,without your knowledge. which makes the owners of the cats sad and confused about their disappearance . They are not very good people .once they have made up their mind about you an feel like they don't like you they will try an push u out . beware of this park !!! ! read more
