In less than 3 years i went through 2 transmission replacement. 2 turbos booster because they didn't install the first replacement correctly. Now a month after the turbo replacement I have do repair for the valve cover and the oil fan to reseal, that repair was denied by the extended warranty. First of all, i use to get my car fixed at CarMax Orlando and realized that they don't hire competent mechanics that it why the repairs fail. Also, they don't use new part but remanufactured parts, that is also another problem. I ended up going to the dealership when my car stays about a week before maxcare send an inspector, in the meanwhile they did not give ne e loaner or a rental, so I had to cover my own transportation. 7 days later the inspector denied the dealership claim. Now I have to pay over $1000 out of pocket . Do yourself a favor stay away from CarMax and Max care their extended warranty.

He went above and beyond to work with me and my foot hadn't even hit the door yet. Over the course of a week, he scoured the inventory across several locations and worked with a very picky Yelper finding him vehicle after vehicle. We landed on a Chevy Spark that, while it seemed nice, I just wasn't sold on. At that point, I needed a break from car shopping, so I thanked him for his time and told him I'd let him know when I get back to it. Flash forward a month. I get to a decent point and hop back onto the hunt. Unfortunately, Jose wasn't available the day I walked in. John was the first rep to greet me and was just as helpful, friendly and professional. It's clear that Enterprise treats you like a genuine person and there's no pressure for anything. They make sure everything is clear from the beginning and will work with you on getting car payments as low as they can for you. The Powertrain Warranty (5-Year/60,000-Miles) does transfer to the 2nd Owner. (Original Owner has a 10-Year/100,000-Miles Powertrain Warranty). 3. In addition, all other warranties, Anti-Perforation, Roadside Assistance, etc. should also transfer. 4. Hertz Regional Florida Manager (Tom Lutes) was very helpful in obtaining and explaining the warranty transfer process. Hertz Tampa, Hertz Clearwater, and Hertz Orlando Car Sales managers, store managers, business managers have NO clue on how the process works. 5. 2nd Owner MUST use the Hyundai Update Vehicle Owner's Information above to transfer all warranties from Hertz to their name. This is something that Hertz managers neglected to notify the 2nd Owner. 6. AFTER you do No.1 above, you should immediately take the vehicle to your nearest Hyundai Dealership Service Department to get it thoroughly checked by a Licensed Hybrid Mechanic, for recalls, routine maintenance, etc. (hybrid health check up). *************************************** DO NOT BUY FROM HERTZ. 12/30/2025, We bought a 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid (29,118 miles, last 8 VIN: SU260568) from Hertz Car Sales Tampa. Website and Sales Manager said ALL Hyundai Warranties will transfer (3/36k, 5/60k, 10/100k). Contacted Hyundai Corporate about Warranties. 10/100k will not transfer unless Hertz had the vehicle Hyundai Certified. Our Hyundai was NOT Certified by Hyundai, even though Hertz website and Hertz Sales Manager said it will. We are now talking to Legal Counsel about misrepresenting information to the buyer, false advertising, etc. Solution. Hertz provides proof that our car is Hyundai Certified.
